Местоположение близко к grand central .
Спать было спокойно ,т.к отель расположен дальше самого центра ,не шумно.

Так же при прохождении паспортного контроля обнаружили ,что подтвержденное с оплатой бронирование на 17 дней была отменена ,но мы ее не отменяли.Пришлось заново бронировать и переплачивать крупную сумму ,примерно $600-700.
На ресепшене нам ответили,что это букинг отменил бронирование сам.В службе поддержке так и не получили ответа на многочисленное обращение чтобы разобраться.
Location was good. Bed comfortable.
The bathroom was ridiculously small and uncomfortable. Little privacy re toilet.
The staff (not overly friendly)was quite stingy with waters. It was very hot, and for the life of me I do not understand arguing about providing water.
There were hampers left for the 3 day stay right outside our door. And dirty glasses lined up against the hall wall.
The elevator buttons did not work often. It took effort to call the elevator. Up arrows showed when going down. And vice versa.
At night, little to no eyes on who came in and out. And on 38th St side, folks
sitting on steps blocking access.
I do not recommend the hotel.
Stylish hotel, very well located. They have steamers available, which is great for those on business trips.
Cleaning could have been better, especially in the bathroom.

The hotel is beautifully designed and with the record breaking heat, was extremely cool.
I can't think of anything that could have been better.

Wow, our family loves Kimpton now! It was our first experience with this hotel. We met up with a few friends during our stay and the lobby area was more than enough to host our friends. The lobby is beautiful, classy but very comfy as well. Everyone was so nice and friendly. The rooms were small like NYC hotels but not bad. The bathroom was really nice and if you needed anything, they had a list of things they could give you or lend you if you forgot it. It felt like everything was well kept.
The only thing was our bathroom door wasn't sliding correctly so it was hard for the kids to close and open but they came and fixed that.
Every morning they have complimentary coffee and tea bar until 9am. Iced water was also provided all day long in the lobby. The morning we checked out, there were cookies by the iced water. My kids loved that.
Location was AMAZING. I really loved staying here and it was close to so much and a lot of our favorite places. Grand Central is right there so easy to get on public transportation.
We left our phone in the room and didn't realize it until the evening after we had checked out. They found it and was so willing to work with us to get it mailed out to us. Many times when we'veeft something, it's just "gone" or "never seen". I really appreciate the honesty of the staff.
Really looking forward to coming back here to stay for our next visit to NYC. Thank you, Kimpton Ashbel!
