The location is excellent. One and half blocks from Penn Station, 1 or 2 blocks from the subway depending on which line you are taking. Staff was very friendly. We had the family suite and put 2 teenagers on the beds while my wife and I took the pull out couch which worked fine. Our suite had 2 bathrooms, which was fantastic. The bathrooms must have been renovated recently - they were perfect. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel.
The hotel is a bit tired. The hallways and rooms need the carpeting replaced. It was worn and frayed. Our room is set up for 4 people but only came with 2 continental breakfast coupons, which was a little surprising. The continental breakfast is minimal and the croissants were terrible. I ordered a side of scrambled eggs just to get some real food.
