Pros:

The location is excellent this is why I chose to come back to this hotel after so many years. Staff are very friendly and excellent service. Rooms are a great size and we had a lovely view. I would recommend it.

Cons:

Rooms are not updated, I guess it's to do with an iconic location.

Pros:

The Location of this hotel is excellent, Empire state building less than 10mins walk away with subway stations right outside for those looking to explore the rest of the city. Was greeted well upon arrival and at a busy time might i add but still we were checked in within 10 mins. Lobby looks amazing as you enter with some very attentive door men on hand.

Cons:

The rooms are very dated as are the facilities in the room. We stayed in a queen size room, the lighting was dark most of the day. The bathrooms could do with a lot of work on updating them as with the rest of the room in general, all the décor very dated. You are paying for location mostly with this hotel.

Unresponsive Staff. Felt Scammed by the staff. Careful of other items that can trigger the smoke sensor like a Cpap machine with humidifier, aerosol deodorant spray, Shark hair dryer.

A pleasant stay while exploring New York
Pros:

Great location close to Penn Station and Time Square, Comfy bed and plenty of storage. Friendly staff and convenient check in / out. TikTok Diner and evening bar were a lovely place to eat and relax. Overall vibe of hotel was retro and pleasant.

Cons:

Bathroom was small with limited space for toiletries. Overall room felt tired and in need of renovation. Room wasn't on a high floor as requested resulting in a disappointing view.

Beautiful big old Hotel with history, great Midtown location, and very friendly.
Pros:

Rooms were tidy. Location was EXCELLENT in midtown. Its a beautiful big old Hotel with History. There was also a Diner and Restaurant, and a second restaurant and bar all onsite within the Hotel. Also very close to the major Penn Station.

Cons:

Nothing. I had a great stay.
