Pros:

Staff fantastic especially staff servicing the rooms which they will do at your convenience even if t is 4 in the afternoon. Outdoor pool great but no indoor pool to speak of (it's a kiddies pool).

Cons:

Food was good but the quality of the breakfast bacon and sausage was poor. Only a type of body wash in the rooms. This should be upgraded to shampoo, conditioner and shower gell.

Very enjoyable stay with lovely staff.
Pros:

Lovely selection of buffet food at both breakfast and evening meal. Italian restaurant also good.

Unable to open window in bedroom. Shower very hot and fierce.

Pros:

I love the Merton, it has everything for a comfortable stay. It feels like coming home ( first went in 1989)

Cons:

We were a group so in the basement, nice to walk past the disco ( brings back memories) but wouod have preferred to be in a room overlooking the aquadome

Pros:

Staff always friendly and welcoming in all areas of the hotel and super helpful when looking for lost car key at breakfast one morning - even emptied the bins to look for the lost key which was much appreciated and beyond what was expected. The breakfast was also super.

Service with a Smile
Pros:

The staff were fantastic. Always smiling. Nothing too much trouble. Extremely helpful and accommodating. Location was good. Beer prices were reasonable. Breakfast was ok. Great that you could order fresh omelette.

Cons:

A bit dated in bedrooms and bathroom but clean. Windows didnt open far so rooms were a bit stuffy at times and warm.
