This hotel should not be allowed to stay in business. The poor condition gives impression customer base is mostly drug addicts, drug dealers, and possibly prostitution.
Nasty rooms
I loved the Econo lodge! There was a nice sized mini fridge and a microwave; the beds were both queen sized and the air conditioner worked impeccably well! The carpet did not even stain your feet that badly and there wasn’t even that many bugs! For the price this is a great place to stay with friendly folk
It was OK! We were able to get check in quick. The rooms were clean and what we expected for the cost. We were not looking for anything fancy as we just needed a place to sleep for the night as we traveled from FL to MI.
No lobby, no coffee. Although they were going through a storage room and I asked if they happened to have a coffee pot, the maintenance guy found me one.
Bed ok. Place pretty clean but in need of updating. You get what you pay for
Office area is locked and closed off for lounge and breakfast. The room had filthy walls, bathroom toilet was loose and rocked when in use, the beds have partial metals sticking out from the sides and very dangerous. The door has a huge gap in the bottom, beds had only one sheet and a light blanket no comforter.
The toilet was loose, not bolted to the floor. The power went out, the front desk didn’t answer the phone. There was construction in the room above us, we heard drills and saws all night.
Room was ok. Clerk was not polite and was quite unwelcoming.
My room was clean and I had no issues with the bed. The room I had obviously could use some TLC. For a one night stay to get off I-24 and get some sleep this place was adequate. Heat worked. TV worked. There is some road noise. Manager/owner? was pleasant. Had to use a walk up window.
If I could give this place a zero I would . This is more like a motel cause they don’t ask for id they rooms are out dated the ceiling was peeling & the tub was disgusting the carpet was wet the door had webs and not to mention bugs in the room dead . I rather sleep in a car than stop and stay here . Literally syood 4 hours
This was THE WORST experience I’ve ever had with a hotel. We booked 6 months in advance and I received multiple confirmation emails for a four night stay during a very busy time. We showed up and they said our reservation was somehow “cancelled”. Do not book with them!
I stayed here for bonnaroo, if you’re looking for somewhere to sleep with air condition and running water, then this is your place literally a 10 minute drive from Bonnaroo and that’s all I was looking for, pricing was great compared to hotels that were charging anywhere between 200$ and $400 a night cause of the festival, stayed there for five nights for about 400 (booked super early) the room was outdated, and the drawers were broken didn’t have a microwave, but it did have a mini fridge.
Stay somewhere else. Lots of options in the area..nothing works or is as described here. Key was thrown at me from behind glass counter by staff..walked to room. Door literally wide open..no shampoo, no coffee, fridge had stuff leaking and food inside, couch was ripped, Ice machine doesn't work ( staff will give you a dozen homemade ice cubes in walmart bag) bathroom light didn't work, no breakfast (lobby has turned into personal quarters) , cobwebs in room, clock has wrong time..
For $89 you would expect your room to be fairly nice. It was old and kind of musty smelling. A foot stool had a huge stain on it. Several places in the room and outside were falling apart. The shower needed recaulking. My favorite - luke warm shower. The handle seemed to be blocked half way to stop hot water from flowing.
Something not sitting well with me, there are a few Super 8 signs around the place - including my receipt. Super 8 hotels are Wyndham hotels. When I questioned it for points, he said they weren’t a Wyndham hotel. No explanation. If you aren’t a Super 8 hotel, you shouldn’t be using Super 8 signage.
I called and rang the bell several times at 3am. I had already been driving over 7 hours after packing and getting ready for trip entire day prior so I could not go any further. And this mf was literally asleep within my seat. Gave up and went elsewhere even though I was literally cross eyed couldn’t finish the remainder 10+ hour drive. After reading all the horrible reviews and pics on my way to write this I’m glad the manager was paying dude to ignore customers! Hope they belly up!
This place needs to close. We arrived at 1am rang bell and called for 20 min as I was about to pull away a man appeared in office. He basicly tossed key at me and walked away. We got to the room and it reached of moldy basement. No trash bags used soap in bathroom. No blankets on bed. We travel with sleeping bags so we rolled those out and crashed. Next morning we noticed the place covered in ants. When checking out I went to tell man in office(same guy) who just took key and walked away. We rented another room in morning b g t different hotel just to shower!
The hotel is a little dated, but a great stay. Very clean and cozy. Location is good. Cracker Barrel next door and a local place across the street. Lady at the desk was wonderful. It was close to midnight on Friday when we checked in, but she was so welcoming and friendly. Price was great and room was nice. Really great choice.
I travel quite a bit, and I know that staying at an Econo Lodge is not the same as staying in a 3 or 4 star hotel, but this property is awful. From non-working internet (the front desk person would only tell me "I think it's on" without checking) to a laundry room without a working dryer, a non-working tv remote, and the filthiest stub and shower set up I've ever seen anywhere.
Also, I made the mistake of leaving my carry-on bag in the room when I checked out and did not notice until much later that day when I had already arrived in Nashville. I called the hotel to see if they'd retrieve the bag for me, and was told "there was no bag in that room and someone new is already staying in it". I know for certain that I left it there, so either the maid staff stole it or the proprietors kept it. Yes, it's my bad for leaving the bag but jeez...
Not recommended on any level.
