Literal roach motel

First they put me in a king room where the bed was so loud and squeaky I only got two hours of sleep, maybe. After complaining they moved me to a double. Bed didn't squeak. But this room had it's own issues. The TV did not work, I had to fix it on my own as they never sent maintenance. Second, BUGS, little roaches all over the room. I have a picture. I told front desk when I checked out and it was meh, oh well.

Pros:

The staff was friendly. The hotel was in close proximity to my destination and restaurants and grocery stores. When I checked out and told the front desk the issue i had she informed me that they would have moved me to another room. I didn't want to be a bother.

Cons:

The shower wasn't working properly. Called maintenance. They got it working but the water pressure was low. Tub was very slippery, I slipped and fell taking a shower.

The staff didnt listen to anything we kept telling them about our stay and our booking and charged for an additional person when made it clear I wasnt staying there it was other 2 people

MAYBE I'll try someplace different, on my next visit.
Pros:

Location. Nice family staff. Overall, the property was kept clean.
Staff was quick to respond to my request for fresh towels, etc, when room wasn't cleaned up.

Cons:

I wasn't notified that they were going thru a major renovation.
We had a few issues: even though our small dogs were in a covered kennel, room wasn't cleaned, TV reception was spotty at times causing interruption of any program, loose bath door hinge causing it to drag & not close, a broken lamp base. And when I changed out a trash bag, can had mold on the bottom!
