Lovely brekkie (bit slow). Lush grounds & amazing to be by the river. Friendly staff- just need hooks on back of bathroom doors! Good value bar prices.
A lovely clubby atmosphere with great staff and astonishing good value.
View from our bedroom over the The Orangery, although to be fair, we were warned as all the balcony suites had booked.

I could not get a booking in the evening , I was alone and elderly so did not want to go out I would have booked ahead if I had known.
Also my bedroom at the back had blanked out windows which was quite depressing .
The breakfast was amazing, staff very friendly, just a little more information at check in, ie breakfast time etc....
The weeds on the balcony need a little attention, room could do with a bit of paint!
Everything was walking distance, and the grounds were wonderful for a morning stroll. I was disappointed we could not get a dinner reservation, so do book in advance. As a couple eating early, we have never had this at a hotel before. And we were not advised upon booking to make the dinner reservation. The breakfast was outstanding! And our room was spotless! Toiletries and tea/coffee in the room were minimal, so you may want to bring your own.

We have stayed many times and always enjoy it. This time the period between Christmas and New Year was quiet but staff were attentive and we were very well looked after. Breakfast was very good.

The welcome, the room, the WiFi and breakfast, all superb
Small niggle was the water temp. It was only just warm, and not hot for a bath, which was disappointing. Would not stop us staying again though.
