Amazing hotel professional staff every single one of them
Pros:

This hotel is amazing you feel really relaxed as soon as you walk through the door and the welcoming drink was a really nice touch Alex on reception was really helpful and so professional

Cons:

The food in the fire pit was not as hot as I would of thought temperature wise that saying it wasn’t cold and the portions size was a bit on the small size for starters but the flavours and detail was top notch

Beautiful place but underwhelmed by the spa facilities not working

Great Aesthetics in terms of the actually hotel and room

Cons:

Was really excited to stay here originally as it’s been on my shortlist. However the sauna and steam room were not working, nor did they have the digital fire place on in the spa which I’ve seen on tik toks. This was one of the main reasons I wanted to come here so unfortunately I was disappointed with this experience

Comfortable rooms but not good for special occasions
Pros:

The rooms are exceptionally comfortable and are one of the main reasons we returned, having stayed here before. The staff were friendly and welcoming at check-in, and overall the hotel provides a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Cons:

The spa was a little disappointing. We were aware it was relatively small, but as the hotel promotes itself as a spa hotel, it didn't quite live up to our expectations.
Our biggest disappointment was the lack of recognition for our wedding anniversary. We had noted this when booking and were also asked at check-in whether we were celebrating a special occasion. Unfortunately, there was no card, chocolates, or any small gesture in the room to acknowledge it.

We enjoyed our stay and the comfort of the rooms remains a real highlight. However, when guests choose a hotel to celebrate a special occasion, it's often the small personal touches that make the experience memorable. Sadly, this was missing for us, which would make us think twice about returning for another celebration or recommending the hotel to couples marking a special occasion.
