The style the service the cleanliness and just the ora in general
We were due to stay at Cave Hotel last Sunday to celebrate our 2-year wedding anniversary. We had booked a non-refundable, non-changeable room, but unfortunately, due to an unexpected emergency, we were unable to make it.
It was already an incredibly difficult and stressful day for us, and on top of everything, the thought of losing the money we had saved for our anniversary stay was really upsetting. We rent a flat in London and, like many people, most of our income goes towards everyday life. My husband even works a second job so that we can put a little money aside for things like this, so losing the booking would have been a significant financial loss for us.
However, Alex was incredibly kind and understanding and went out of his way to accommodate our circumstances and move our reservation for us. I honestly cannot put into words how much that meant to us. At a time when we were already going through a very difficult day, that kindness and understanding took away an additional worry that we really didn't need.
It’s easy to remember a hotel for its beautiful rooms or facilities, but it’s the people and the way they treat you when things don't go according to plan that truly make a difference. Alex showed genuine compassion and went above and beyond, and we are so incredibly grateful.
We are now really looking forward to celebrating our anniversary at Cave Hotel, and we will always remember the kindness that was shown to us. Thank you so much, Alex, for making a difficult situation that little bit easier. It genuinely meant more than you know.

The spa was very dated and rust could be seen around the pool area. Steam room was not working and the whole spa experience was below standard
