Brunelleschi Hotel

Excellent hotel - located within short walks of all major places of interest. Very clean and with excellent service. Fresh fruit in reception. Friendly staff.

We have just returned from an excellent stay at the Brunelleschi Hotel which must rank as one of the very best hotels we have ever stayed in. The service was quiet, very efficient and very professional but very warm and welcoming. Rooms were very quiet and extremely well appointed and the buffet breakfast superb. Being centrally positioned meant that all sites, restaurants etc were very close at hand. we felt very much at home here and wouldn't hesitate to return or to recommend it to our friends. Thank you for making our stay so perfect.

The entrance to this hotel is in a picturesque quieter street a short distance from the Duomo. You are warmly welcomed from entering to the dining room. Throughout my stay the staff was unfailingly warm and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and anticipate any traveler's needs, and the breakfast buffet is outstanding. I would truly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence.

Staff were incredibly helpful and thoughtful. Room was lovely. Breakfast buffet was huge and delicious. Lovely small bar for drinks and light meals. Perfect location in the center of the historic area - could walk to most sights. Best hotel I could have chosen - especially traveling alone.

We have been here before and given the amount of accommodation in and around Duomo this hotel gets it right every-time.

The genuinely warm welcome never appears false and no matter how many times you go pass the front desk there is always an acknowledgement.

The room is spotless and bedlinen to die for being fresh and perfectly laundered.

The breakfast is again a masterclass in presentation. The lady whose job it is to keep enough on the breakfast table judges well when a top up is needed. Its not thrown on top but gently layered with precision.

The only downside was the noise as we had a front facing room this time and if the window is open at night the noise level can be hard to ignore. The hotel is not in control of this so it cant be blamed but if you like a window open at night you will need the earplugs provided.

Seguramente el mejor hotel en el que me he quedado hasta la fecha. Un 10 absoluto al Hotel Brunelleschi y a la ciudad de Florencia. Excelente experiencia.

Very central and nice staff.

The Hotel Brunelleschi is drop-dead gorgeous, from the entrance to your own bathroom. Everything is tastefully done and relaxing. Nothing is over the top. It's quiet and friendly and exudes a sense of history like few places where I've stayed (part of the hotel is a 7th or 8th century tower). The breakfast was delicious, and the location couldn't be better--about a block and a half from the Duomo and a very easy walk to the Piazza della Signoria, the Uffizzi, the Ponte Vecchio, and the church of Santa Maria Novella. I loved staying there and would go back in a minute for as long as I could.

My son (31) and I (69) stayed in this hotel from feb 23rd to feb 27th 2026, during our first visit to Florence on the occassion of my upcomming 70th birthday. The experience was 100% positive. The hotel surpased our expectations by far. The friendly personnel, the attention to detail, the rooms and above all the location, made this our favourite hotel all times. Thank you so much for helping make this celebratory trip a true unforgetable one.

Stayed for 3 nights in February. wonderfully pleasant experience, staff were unbelievably charming and helpful - really good value, if you are staying in the centre of Florence and want something fabulous which doesn't cost the earth, just stay here.

Size, location, staff, attention to detail and beautiful historic building.

Perfect location between the Duomo and Piazza della Signoria. Short walk to everything and easy to stop back at the hotel for rest. Lobby is small, but offers restrooms and water for a quick break. Front desk and housekeeping staff are welcoming and eager to help with anything. Adjoining rooms worked perfectly for our family of 5. The building is historic and a stop on walking tours, which is fascinating.

The Brunelleschi is exceptional in every way - location, service, luxurious rooms, attention to detail and value for money.
We had the best time and we can’t wait to come back.

The hotel is perfectly located, just a short walk from the Duomo but slightly hidden away from passing traffic. In reception staff are always present and eager to help.
The room was a good size with a high ceiling and furnished on a modern style. The bathroom was well equipped but would benefit from a better shower. The most annoying item was a safe installed a cabinet at ground level requiring kneeling with my phone torch on to operate the keypad.
Breakfast, both the service and the range and quality of food, was superb.

Couldn’t ask for a better location. Not all rooms have views of the Duomo and the Campanile, but those that do are worth the extra $$. Superb service, excellent breakfast, too.
