It was the perfect place to stay, relax, explore from and unwind after my sons wedding.
Pros:

Perfect central location and so good when visiting by train. The Spa was wonderful and the room beautifully comfortable.

Cons:

The fact that I don't think I can drink a whisky sour anywhere else!

Was a nice room but the other things spoiled it.

Room was beautiful. Very comfortable

Cons:

We had to wait 2 hours for luggage to be taken up to our room!!!! We were on a very quick turnaround to go out for the evening and I had to call down twice to get our luggage! Not acceptable!
Bar staff ( behind bar). Quite arrogant. I asked for water and he opened a bottle of water rather than ask if I wanted tap water! I had no choice but to pay for that. We had ordered drinks too.
When I checked out my bill was incorrect!!!
I had a voucher which I had given to the receptionist on checking in and they didn’t deduct from bill until I noticed it!! Not good!

Underwhelming stay for a hotel that had been on my bucket list
Pros:

We originally wanted to go a few years ago but we're advised when booking the swimming pool area was getting refurbished. We waited till 2026 so we could use all the facilities but on arrival were told the Whiskey bar and restaurant were closed. We had one bar and restaurant to choose from. Good service from the checking in staff and bar and restaurant staff were excellent. Would I stay again unfortunately no. Great location , hotel was decorated nicely for Christmas.

Pros:

De enorme service en de vriendelijkheid van het personeel. Echt alles in dit hotel is tot in de puntjes verzorgd, overal is over nagedacht. We voelde ons 4 dagen lang koninklijk behandeld.

Een “ must” om hier te mogen verblijven
Pros:

Eigenlijk alles, heerlijke welness, super ontbijt, leuke prince pub met hele goede bediening, werkelijk prachtige whisky bar met medewerkers die alles over de whisky’s kunnen vertellen, heel vriendelijk personeel, super schone kamers en een verschrikkelijke aardige portier. Als je bent ingecheckt, krijg je een appje van het hotel met de mededeling dat als je in de problemen komt of assistentie nodig hebt , je het hotel via die app kan bereiken zodat ze je kunnen helpen
