We were walking back to our Villa in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat - an upward climb - and decided to stop pour une boire at the Royal Riviera. We were told it was a ‘private’ hotel, the bar was closed, ‘. . . But you can come tomorrow evening.’ We felt as if we had been given the not so royal brush-off. Very disappointing treatment by staff.
The staff are so helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble.
Beautiful gardens pool and sea view.
Convenient location to explore surrounding towns and sightseeing.

My friend and I stayed early May of this year and absolutely loved every minute of our stay. Everyone was so lovely, from the doormen and front desk staff, to the breakfast attendants and restaurant servers. Breakfast was delicious and had so many options. Seating on the patio overlooking the Mediterranean was the perfect way to start the day.
The location couldn’t have been any better…the hotel was the perfect jump off point for a walk around St Jean Cap Ferrat, so close to the Rothchild estate (which we loved as well), a short stroll to Villefranche sur Mer, and a short Uber ride to Eze and other Rivera towns.
Our room was large, beds were so comfortable, bathroom well appointed and the views were spectacular. 10/10. I can’t wait for my next visit and would not hesitate to book clients here as well.
This place is a jewel in the South of France. My family and I stayed here in July and it was amazing! Elegance, charm, lovely food and amazing service.

Everything! The location and views are stunning. The room comfortable and luxurious with impeccable service. Breakfast and restaurants excellent. We were celebrating a birthday and wedding anniversary and the staff spoiled us in every way possible to make our stay perfect!

Our stay was exceptional from beginning to end. It was our first visit to the South of France and a special occasion—our 23rd wedding anniversary. Upon arrival, we were delighted to learn that our room had been upgraded. The suite was beautifully appointed, and we were touched by the thoughtful gift and handwritten note from the General Director, Bruno Mercadal. Every member of the team, from the hotel to the restaurants, made us feel genuinely welcomed. A special thank-you to Nelson at the Jasmin Restaurant for his outstanding service. We look forward to returning soon.

From reception to breakfast crew, everyboduy has a genuine smile and is eager to make your stay a memorable one.
The carpet in the room is the only negative remark but apparently next time I get a room without a carpet. Will be back....au revoir
