Bad customer service, communication, and guest experience.
Pros:

I booked my stay through Expedia, where the hotel rate was clearly shown as including breakfast. However, upon check-in, the front desk staff informed me that breakfast was not confirmed in my reservation. Despite showing them the Expedia listing as proof, no solution, sympathy, or effort to assist was offered.
This was a very poor start to my stay and easily the worst check-in experience I have had. The interaction lacked basic customer service and professionalism.
After arriving in the room, I noticed that the power outlets were outdated and did not support modern chargers. When I went back to the front desk to request an adapter, the front desk agent simply told me to go to Shoppers Drug Mart and buy one, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard.
In addition, I booked the Premier Room and specifically expected a renovated and upgraded room, as advertised. However, aside from a better harbor view, there were no noticeable upgrades. The toilet seat was in poor condition, which is unacceptable for a premier-category room. The room did not meet the standard or expectations associated with this booking level.

nice place
Pros:

Everything was good, but it would be better if toothbrushes, toothpaste, and a comb were provided. I had to go to 7-Eleven early in the morning to get them.

Bed bugs!!
Pros:

I was booked to stay here for a work trip and unfortunately discovered I had bed bug bites developed on my face, neck, and ears after my first night. Waking up with multiple itchy bites on exposed areas of my skin was both uncomfortable and alarming, especially while traveling for work.

To their credit, the front desk staff was polite and quickly moved me to a different room. However, the fact that this was an issue at all is extremely concerning.

Rooms should be thoroughly inspected and properly treated to ensure they are safe and sanitary for guests. No one should have to deal with something like this during a business trip.

Beyond the physical discomfort, there’s also the stress of potentially bringing the bed bugs home in my luggage and clothes. That’s not a minor inconvenience, it’s a serious issue.

I hope management takes this seriously and implements stricter inspection and prevention measures so future guests don’t experience the same problem.

Staff very friendly, great location - would stay again in future
Pros:

Staff very friendly and helpful, lovely location right next to the Harbour, restaurants, cafes, walking distance to shopping areas in Vancouver. Rooms have everything you need, decent size. Hotel has gym, indoor pool area. Was my birthday, had chocolates and birthday greetings upon arrival in room - very thoughtful and made the trip more special.

Cons:

Hotel is slightly outdated now, but they have plans on display in lobby showing modern updates are coming. Loved to see the designs and will stay again when updated and refreshed. Pool area looking a little tired but was still great to get a quick workout and swim in before bed! Rooms still good, clean and comfortable would recommend.

Nice hotel in great location
Pros:

Comfy beds, nice room, nice bistro, great location,, friendly staff.

Cons:

Not a fan of the $47 charge per night for parking .... But I suppose that's par for the course downtown?! It bumped the room price by 25% so not the deal I'd originally thought.

Excelente hotel e localização. Vale.
Pros:

Convenient location and comfy room
Pros:

Great area, comfy room and beds.

Cons:

$47/night for parking. I guess that's par for the course in downtown, but adds an additional 25% to the hotel stay per night that you're not necessarily aware of when you book.

That if I book it I would have to use my own credit card, but I booked it and they wouldn't let me use my husband's. Makes no sense

Okay, but with glaring problems
Pros:

The experience was mediocre at best. They put me into a room that was clearly old, worn down, and in need of some maintenance - the bathroom door was peeling and had clear signs of water damage. The carpet looked old, and some of the furniture had noticeable marks from years of wear and tear.

Because the room had a connecting door to the adjacent room, noise was ever-present. The room was also right beside the elevator and I can hear other guests walking to and from in the hallways.

For service, this was unacceptable. I asked for a kettle three times and never received it. The front desk team was clearly understaffed and weren't able to accommodate adequately. At our morning breakfast (catered), the food was okay at best; the scrambled egg was dry, overcooked, and spongy.

The most problematic experience was the parking. My colleagues registered their vehicle at the front desk and still received a parking ticket. We had to talk to front desk to try and resolve this issue but, after four days, we are still in limbo.

To say this stay was worth the price is a stretch.

Would stay again
Pros:

Great location when using the Hullo ferry from Naniamo. Everything you need within 5-10 mins walking and close enough cab ride to arenas/shopping and core downtown Vancouver . Rooms are a bit dated , old tv and carpet but very clean. Easy check in and friendly staff experience.
