The breakfast was delicious however the line for food needs to be more streamlined and orderly. People were getting in line to get seconds and jumping in front of people who were getting their first place. Their needs to beca constant staff in their to monitor that.
The gravy for the biscuits were Luke warm. Staff said that the temperature was fine but I prefer that my food be hot. Also, swimming area was disruptive due to children diving in the pool and splashing water over the place. I couldn't enjoy myself as kids were in their unsupervised. Staff needs to be in their to ensure kids are supervised and diving is not being done.
The temperature in the room was difficult to maintain. It was either too hot or too cold.
Conveniently located in the Bloomington/Edina area bear the intersection of 494 and France Avenue. It offered a pool, fitness room and all the usual complimentary breakfast choices in a comfortable dining area.
Friendly staff, clean, close to airport!
Exceptionally clean, modern and updated wonderful breakfast! Location, exceptional
Not a thing
Staff
The rooms were very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The reception accommodated a change in the reservation upon our arrival, and the breakfast was great. The cleaning staff were friendly and professional, and it's great that they communicated in Spanish when my mother talked with them in Spanish. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the lobby and the breakfast area. The work space is sunny and comfortable.
I have no complaints overall. We tried to plug in phones and laptops in the outlets in the seating area next to the breakfast area, but they didn't work.
Breakfast
Wifi was lousy. Charging deposit.
Breakfast was good
First of all I had to change rooms because the refrigerator in the first room didn't work. Then I got moved to a second room the refrigerator wasn't plugged in so my son had to plug it in and the dirt that was in the back of the shelf and the refrigerator TV stand was unbelievably. The covers on the pull out bed were dirty, the bed was hard, the bathroom was dirty.
The reason I only gave three stars instead of 5 is because.... We stayed here before when my son was airlifted to HCMH. We were very impressed with how clean the rooms were that my family stayed in. And thought for sure we would stay again. This last stay we booked for three days. Unfortunately, this stay wasn't as good! The pool and hot tub were closed for repairs (one reason I wanted to stay here because I am disabled and the water really helps my condition especially the hot tub) the heater in our room was very loud and we couldn't control the temp. We called the front desk to ask if there was a way that we could be switched to a different room. The front desk would pick up the phone and put us immediately on hold. As I patiently waited on hold for about 5-7 minutes. I got hung up on. So I figured the front desk might be just busy. I made my way down and spoke to Brittney about the heater and she was great about getting us into another room. She asked us to go look at the room to be sure it was ok. We went to the room and you could tell it was not Cleaned. The bed and pillows were a mess. The garbage had not been emptied and the room cards were still on the desk. So that pretty much told us it was not cleaned. We made our way back down to tell her that it wasn't up to standards, and how it was far from being cleaned! While I waited for her to come back from whatever room she was in down the hallway. (And it wasn't the office) there were 5 people who were also waiting to check in. They said that they called numerous times to confirm check in and nobody would answer the phone. We did end up getting into another room that was up to standards. The only complaint on that room was the smell of skunk which I believe to have been weed coming from another room next door. The first time we stayed here the breakfast was phenomenal. Great choices. Better than the Hilton we stayed at previously. This last time the omelets were like rubber and I almost got burnt by that pan that was just sitting on a plate warmer not secured at all. The potatoes that were served tasted good, but they were sticking to the pan and difficult to serve up! (Maybe some Pam spray could be used) We didn't complain while we were there and maybe we could have. Not sure if we would stay here again. Maybe, if we were given a discounted stay for another time to try?? The whole thing is. We also bragged about our first stay to friends who also booked here and I was kinda embarrassed as they had some issues as well, but not to the extent of ours. Just being honest! Have a great day.
Last minute decision to get a room the night before my work day in the cities. I was surprised to how clean and fresh the hotel was. My room was spotless, bathtub looks like it was put in yesterday with no soap or mildew. Breakfast was good and Id stay again.
Im here for business, not Leisure. I didnt check out the pool.
Location is good.
