The perfect location! Beautiful view of the waterfront, Mt. Rainier and Elliot Bay. The staff was so friendly and helpful, answered all our questions, provided great recommendations. The facility was amazingly clean. Public transportation right out the front door. So much history!
Thank you for an amazing experience of Seattle!
We travelled to Seattle with our grandson and his girlfriend to board a cruise ship to Alaska. Since this was everyone's first time in Seattle I wanted to stay close to the terminal for the ship. This hotel's location is perfect! Close to everything we wanted to see and do in Seattle for 2 days. The staff was great and very helpful. I would highly recommend staying at The Edgewater.
We love the Edgewater. We had a New Yesrs Eve Party there before we were married in 1991. It was fun to go back and stay there before our cruise. Our room with a fireplace and the rustic look of the hotel was so warm and welcoming. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was the best! The staff was very accommodating and helpful to my husband who is in a wheelchair and I appreciated the little break they gave me by helping. The entire experience was nostalgic for us. I hope we can return. Thanks for being you, Edgewater hotel!
My partner and I had such a lovely time at the hotel! We appreciated the kind staff and the ability to ride the complimentary bikes that were provided!
Hidden amenities fee charged at check out. Hotels should let you know about an additional resort fee before making a reservation. Only this one calls it a amenities fee. I don't reserve hotels with resort fee's or parking fee's. That is the only way to fight these outrageous fees upon fees upon more fees.
Hotel is very dated and in need of renovations. The bed was too mushy and felt like a poorly inflated air mattress. The onsite restaurant (67) is way over priced. The staff that I interacted with were very friendly and professional.
The views and the food were amazing! Very friendly staff and perfect location. The housekeeping team were all smiles every time I interacted with them. I look forward to returning.
This hotel is fantastic I would highly recommend it. The design has just the right mix of seattle cool and pacific northwest charm. If your looking for a unique boutique hotel exerice that doesn't feel overly modern or trendy, this is your place. The location is central to all the sights we wanted to explore. We were able to walk to Pike Place Market, The Space Needle, and cool downtown restaurants. The 67 restaurant was fantastic for breakfast.
Beautiful property right on the water, highly recommended! The staff were incredibly helpful and the food was delicious.
Check in was quick and easy and room was ready when we arrived early. They were also able to accommodate our request to check out a little later. Sitting in the lobby is relaxing overlooking the waters watching the ducks and boats. Room was spacious and clean and thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace...nice touch. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was spacious although the floor was super cold to walk on. Difficult to keep the water from getting on the floor with it not being fully enclosed. Location was convenient wand walkable to the attractions.
Great location, nice hotel, good staff
This local waterfront hotel in Seattle had'been on my bucket list for decades. I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful hotel in a over the water balcony room for three nights. The views were breathtaking, ferries and cruise ships as well as the Great Wheel and the Stadiums being lit up at night. The food was wonderful as well as the Edgewater Team they were excellent in every way. They went above and beyond to make sure that their guests have a memorable experience. I would highly recommend this Hotel if you are ever visiting Seattle or even if you are a local.
Super friendly staff, early check-in was no problem. The most delicious cup of coffee I think I have ever had and their restaurant was most importantly, friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious too.
Great location and restaurant but this hotel is next to a train station and they should have a disclaimer before anybody stays here. In addition to that the room vents and the restaurant were actually quite dirty which we pointed out to them. We had to switch rooms because of the train and my wife's hair dryer also did not work properly.
We were underwhelmed with the room (especially for the price) and the hostess in the restaurant was rude not just once but at both lunch and dinner.
The hotel is very nice and it looked as if it was renovated not long ago, Being over the water is such a cool and unique thing about this hotel, I loved it. It's also within walking distance to Pike Place Market and not far from any of the major tourist activities including the cruise ports making it's location great in my opinion. The room was clean, large, and very nice (King water view room) and had a gas fireplace which was very cool and nice to have! All of the staff was very friendly and helpful as well.
I would come stay here again even though it is a little pricey to me, it's location makes it worth it.
The hotel is right on the pier with beautiful views and near fun tourist attractions. The hotel restaurant offered great cocktails and food.
We were married at the Edgewater 17 years ago. We try and go back every few years and have never been disappointed.
Love the waterside balcony rooms. Great view and atmosphere.
The location of this hotel -- literally at the edge of the water -- is spectacular. The water-facing rooms are especially wonderful. The rooms are comfortable and very well appointed. Although walking distance to Pike Market and Downtown, the hotel is quiet and free from the noise of city traffic. The hotel's restaurant is excellent. For anyone visiting Seattle, especially on vacation, I would recommend the Edgewater most highly.
We had a great time in Seattle and at the Edgewater Hotel. We stayed there pre-cruise for 3 nights. It would be a big plus if the hotel provided a shuttle service, either to the downtown area or to the ports. The view from the balcony was beautiful. There was access to a filtered water dispenser near the ice machine for our mugs. We were celebrating our 43rd anniversary, and the staff surprised us with a bottle of champagne to celebrate. Beware that from this hotel, the downtown area is a trek UPHILL! We were aware that it was uphill, but were not prepared to how steep the trek was. Overall, we had a very positive experience.
