The Portofino Hotel & Marina, a Noble House Hotel

This was our second time coming and we’re celebrating our anniversary. Staff was wonderful both at the hotel and resturant.

We chose to stay here on our wedding night since our reception was just down the street, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Scarlet and Elisa truly went above and beyond to make us feel celebrated. They surprised us with chocolate-covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne, all set up and waiting in our room when we returned from the reception—it was such a thoughtful touch.
The front desk team was warm, charming, and incredibly helpful, making us feel genuinely special on such an important night. Thank you for helping make our wedding stay so unforgettable.
The hotel itself is a beautiful boutique property right on the water, surrounded by the marina and the Pacific Ocean. It’s an ideal spot if you want to stay in Los Angeles but prefer a peaceful setting away from the city’s nonstop hustle and bustle.

I love staying here! Every single worker from the front desk to the restaurant has a giant smile. They are so warm, welcoming, & helpful during your stay. I love the pool & hottub overlooking the water, and the hottub is always hot and bubbling! My room is well appointed with all necessary amenities am the the location is walkable to restaurants, sights and the gorgeous marina. I’ve stayed here many times and will continue to do so. Also, if your lucky, Gregory will greet your with a big warm smile at the front desk and take care of your needs! He’s the best!

Due to weather events and cancelled flights out of LAX, we stayed here four nights. We had checked out after 2 days, but had to check back in for 2 more days. Both room 302 and 126 were spacious and spotless. The hotel is oceanfront in a nice area, with a very good restaurant, Baleen Kitchen. Staff went above and beyond. At the reception desk, all those we interacted with were great. I dint have all their names, but Scarlet and Samantha were friendly, helpful and efficient. We appreciated the valets, especially Johnny, Shah, and David. Each gave us helpful tips and were friendly. Housekeeping staff greeted us and inquired if we had any needs when we were in the hallway. We would return here if in Redondo Beach. Its not far from LAX.

We just finished the long MLK weekend at the Portofino Inn in Redondo Beach CA and had a great time. We were visiting family that live close by. We had breakfast every day at the property and it was surprisingly nice. We had dinner at the Hotel Restaurant only one night but we used the valet service on all occasions and were usually greeted by Johnny at the valet stand. He was always on top of getting our car when needed with the air running as it was unseasonably warm. We will return it was always nice to hear the Sea Lions every morning!

I like there was friendly staff and easy to get to rooms. The view was great from the room we were in. The boats going by we're nice.

We booked the hotel thru Amex for two nights. The staff of the hotel and restaurant-Baleen were great. The valet-Johnny greeted us with a hello by name and a smile whenever we saw him. The location is right on the harbor.

I loved my ocean facing suite with a desk and a small sofa and table so I could spread out and work as needed, separate from the bed. The bed was very comfortable.

I did an impromptu day cation with my mom last Saturday at the Portofino Hotel so she could just get away from always working so hard at her school in Crenshaw.
I booked the room at 3:30pm and we arrived at 4:30pm just in time to watch the sunset! 🌅

The room was on the 1st floor and it was amazing! The staff was top notch, ready to help us with anything.

Zoha checked me in at the front desk, and made sure we were taken care of. She asked me what was the special occasion and I told her I was celebrating my mom, since she works so hard at a school and never takes a break. She offered to send something over to the room and it was magical for my mom. My mom was on top of the world when she opened the door and the guy came to drop it off to her. 😍
He was so sweet. I missed his name but he was fantastic.

The room was beautiful and tranquil.

We caught the beautiful sunrise early am, and then we ordered room service breakfast and chatted and spend time before it was time to get ready to head out to start the school week.

I am SO very grateful for the opportunity to stay at the Portofino for the night. I’m hoping to do another trip with my mom there and just enjoy for the weekend.
