It’s close to everything in Nice.
While this hotel advertises a private beach, the access is not included in the accommodation price. You have to pay an extra €35 (cash only) per day, and you’re required to reserve a spot a full day in advance – something the staff failed to mention when I checked in, despite my explicitly stating I was staying there specifically to use the beach.
On my second day, I arrived only to be told that all sunbeds were all taken and that I should have come before 12:30 – again, information that the staff should communicated but failed to do so(it was written in the finest print on a piece of paper they gave me). I did receive a refund, but by then, my only full day in Nice was wasted, and I never got to enjoy the beach at all.
Very disappointing experience. If you’re booking this hotel for the beach, be prepared for extra costs, rigid rules, and little to no help from staff.
The only thing the property had going for it was the location
The bathroom flooded and there was no drain, so we had to use all the towels to soak it up, then ended up sharing one towel each day. The hot water on the shower didn’t work - however when we were finally super annoyed we asked for help and they fixed it and he said it happens all the time. Couldn’t let natural
Light in the room, was very dark and morbid. Bed was two single beds put together and you literally sunk into them, so soft it was like the mattress springs were all broken or non existent. Staff were not overly friendly or helpful if you asked for anything - there was no “oh sorry we do t do that but you can do this “ kind of thing, not a great vibe to be honest.
Excellent location just behind Promenade des Anglais and right at the start of the old town with so many cafes / restaurants and market stalls. A short walk to the tram and main town and plenty more restaurants.

The hotel’s location was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. You can easily walk to many places, and the tram stop is also just a short walk away. I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit.
It was a bit disappointing to find out that hotel guests are charged an additional €35 per person to use the hotel’s beach. Considering that you are already staying at the hotel, this extra charge doesn’t feel particularly reasonable.

The location of the property was perfect and convenient!
The entire property smells like dod poop. It has this monkey smell in the rooms and also in the common areas. If you have helath issues/ allergies this place is a definite No!
