Our go to for precruise stay
Pros:

Location is great, close to restaurants. Hotel does offer shuttle from airport and to cruise port at a reasonable cost. Husband enjoys the omelet station at free breakfast.

Cons:

Hotel is dated. Gives old Vegas vibes

We have stayed at the Ft Lauderdale Embassy Suites many times and always enjoyed the stay.
Cons:

Elevator service was poor. Two out of five were not functioning. Trying to leave we waited forty-five minutes with luggage to get on an elevator. For the very expensive rate at embassy the elevator service was very bad. Also decor was ok, not great. Behind the registration desk looked like a motel 6, poor paint and tired old fixtures.

Close to cruise port.

Cons:

Crowds at breakfast. Our room had the lingering smell of cigarette smoke.

Cons:

Extremely rude checkin staff....really long wait to check in...room wasnt ready, so we were told we'd be called when it was....no call...finally i went to the counter....the room was ready but no one had bothered to call.
Lobby was extremely overdue for a remodel....very weird

Overall a very good stay until the elevator incident.
Pros:

The breakfast was amazing. The best breakfast I have ever seen in a hotel. Location was great.

Cons:

The elevators were not working properly and people including us had to wait 15 to 20 minutes. Had luggage so couldn’t take the stairs. Anyone who could would give up and walk even from high floors. Everyone was extremely upset about this issue.
