Decent hotel in a good location
Pros:

Since I was attending a conference, the location is pretty convenient. I could reach the convention center within a 10-minute car ride or 25-minute ride by the tram. The restaurants are also nearby to grab some food. Parking is also convenient.

Cons:

Breakfast is pretty decent, but the variety can be better.

Worst Experience at a Hilton Property
Pros:

Worst customer service experience I’ve had at a Hilton property

I have never shared a negative review online, but I feel obligated to share this so other guests don’t have the same experience.

The property itself was not in acceptable condition. The hotel felt dirty, carpets were ripped up in areas, and the shower curtain in the room was torn and tattered. Overall it did not meet the basic cleanliness and maintenance standards I expect from a Hilton property.

There was also an issue with hot water. We were told the water temperature was at “standard,” but it was far too cold to be considered reasonable for most guests. A warm shower should not be a luxury.

The biggest issue, however, was the customer service. When concerns were brought to management, the response was dismissive, hostile, and unhelpful. Instead of listening or trying to resolve the issue, we were met with excuses and a lack of care for the guest experience. At one point it genuinely felt like the message was: “We’re busy, take it or leave it.”

I’ve stayed at many Hilton locations and have never felt treated this way. I truly hope leadership reviews what is happening at this location so this does not happen to another guest.

My stay here was perfect the staff was nice and friendly . . And the breakfast was good … would most definitely stay her

I’ll the property was perfect and it was nice and quiet over there and very clean . .

Cons:

Only thing I didn’t like was the tv could be updated to smart tvs I wasn’t able to watch my Netflix but other than that it was fine

Toilet stopped flushing, tried to fix myself, then the water fill in the tank was brown and disgusting.. called front desk, no one available to repair, switched us to a different room which was OK, but not preferred. Showed the front desk attendant the issue, saw the brown water in the fill tank... disgusting!!!!

Pros:

A family member had a very serious injury, and we booked several days at this Homewood. Then our plans changed again because of the injury. We booked a pay-in-advance rate, which made cancellation difficult. The staff at this property was just great, very cooperative and got it all taken care of as a courtesy. This is customer service at its best. Thank you, Homewood.
