Expected a little better from a Red Roof Plus.

Location to our destination, U of M

Cons:

Smoke smell in the room and all the people smoking on the property. Stained wash clothes (see picture) no hand towels, just wash clothes and two bath towels. After getting the wash clothes wet the black stains showed up on them, so disgusting, could not use them. Plastic bag and some kind of cloth wrapped around the smoke detector (see picture). Would think that would be a safety violation of some sort? Dirt on the slats of the HVAC unit (see picture). Dirt along edges of floor and walls.

Solid bargain close to Ann Arbor
Pros:

I loved the location. The front desk was easily located. The parking lot was very convenient. I was very impressed by the politeness of the staff. The king bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

The room itself was a bit dated. Our room had a more than slight odor of mildew. Some of our towels didn’t appear clean either. The toilet took a long time to flush.
