Family friendly, good amenities, great views.

The amenities, location, view, restaurants on site, valet.

Cons:

For the price, I thought the rooms would have been nicer. Wood work was beat up, staining from water intrusion on ceilings in lighthouse tower hallways, no locks on exterior doors from outside, so anyone can come and go on property without keys to rooms. Front desk staff not overly helpful or friendly, when asked about getting clean coffee cups for our room, she said I needed to wait an hour or so for housekeeping to get me cups, even after I said they didn’t show up the day before, that’s why we didn’t have any. White scum/debri in pool everyday, no one seemed to know what it was.

Awesome Bar Experience!
Pros:

We had a wonderful time at the Newport Harbor Island resort! Even though we only came for drinks at the torpedo bar, it was excellent. They have a wide selection of handcrafted cocktails, and the expert bartenders will make you whatever you’d like. Extra shout out to Timothy as he is very knowledgeable and kind and super fast with making drinks! I was very impressed with his speed and accuracy. If you can brave the Causeway, Newport Harbor Island is definitely worth visiting.

Winter Birthday Dinner/Lunch w/ Mommy!!
Pros:

The food was amazing!! So yummy, and it’s beautiful in here!! Though I was a little chilly, I with the heater was above the seats and it would be amazing and probably more convenient for the waiters if there was a button that could contact them if we need them from the igloo! But I had a great time!

Lovely anniversary weekend
Pros:

We stayed here using CapitalOne miles for our anniversary. It was quite lovely. Cleaned well appointed room. We ate at 1639 and it was one of the best steaks we’ve ever had. Natasha our server was especially accommodating and made our anniversary feel special. She was super very friendly, helpful, and just the right amount of attentive.

Excellence!!!
Pros:

The Newport harbor island resort has been absolute dream. Every person we have met from the front desk, bar staff, shuttle driver, wedding coordinator, security has been personable and accommodating. This is a must visit spot on your stay in Newport! You guys are SUPERHEROS!!!!
