Shower did not have hot water. Wasn't ice cold, but probably because of the warm weather. Not good.
Late arrival. First room had terrible musty smell and the desk clerk was nice and switched me to a non smelly room. I went straight to bed. This morning, I noticed
No water for tub shower, which looked nasty, including the moldy flimsy shower curtain. Then I saw several bugs on vanity. Then I left asap. The worst room I can recall staying in.
The office staff was friendly. I lamp incoming into the dark room was not working. Ran out of toilet paper. Missing battery for the remote in order to watch TV. The outlet by the sink did not work. Was not able to get hot water for my shower.
The room was not well kept. We paid for a non-smoking room and clearly the people before us smoked. There appeared to be no pride by ownership. A classic example of you get what you pay for.
Good for the price
i stayed 2 nights in room 201 because my car was broke down over the weekend
the room was dirty.. the bathroom had mold and the tub looks like it haven't been cleaned in years. the room had a serious odor to it. i understand that it's a cheap room but the cleaning crew could have done a lot better.. i went in and tried to clean the tub myself with my own supplies and it still didn't help none. but check in was easy and swift.
It’s a great price and a decent place to stay. No issues.
Perfect
TV was broke, garbage was everywhere outside, run down but it was quiet and clean inside…
This hotel room was disgusting. There were smears of dirt, blood, and debris all over the walls, tub, furniture. The tub had pubes and mildew in it. The staff was nice enough, but check in was like a 20 minute moment of silence with no info as to why it was taking so long, and during check out I had to wait for a worker who then eventually came out barefoot. I guess I would do the same if I didn't give a damn. The room was meant to be non smoking but it was sooooo full of smoke smell. My husband's sinuses were awful ans we considered booking a different hotel just to get some good rest. The pillows and mattress were not comfortable.
The only reasons I'm giving two stars instead of one is because the environment felt safe enough, the TV worked, they had a fridge and microwave, and the bed linens were clean.
For the price you can’t complain. It was clean and safe. The hotel itself is warn and could use a major upgrade but then you would jump from this price to a higher price. Although it was warn I have to say it was clean.
Just awful. Couldn’t understand the man at the front desk. NO HOT WATER. None at all. Stairs were falling apart. Trash hotel. Bed was hard as a rock with a thin blanket.
There were bugs in the room the entire stay. There was never any hot water for comfortable showers. Two lamps in the room had no light bulbs. Only one small trash can and it didn't get emptied one time during the 4 night stay, nor did I ever get any type of service in the room whatsoever. There was a bad odor in the room that an air freshener I purchased couldn't help with. My car could barely get through the parking lot two of the 4 days because they failed to even plow the lots and spaces in front of the rooms. This was by far the worst accommodation I have ever had in over 40 years of traveling and vacationing.
1st thing i noticed was you could see the outside when the door was closed. The heater had a hard time working. When we got there the room was freezing. Usually if the hotel knows there is someone coming into that room it would be warm/cold depend on the season. There was no complementy hair dryer so we had to go and buy one. Usually hotels have them so I didnt pack one. Also bought a heating blanket as we wasn't sure the heater was going to work. The bathroom fan sounded like it was going to blow up at at any moment and a hole around it. There was only enough hot water for 1 person to shower the other had to take a lukewarm/cold shower We told the person in the office and they responded as an "uh huh" and a blank stare and I felt they didnt care. The parking lot wasnt plowed well or at all. The towels were cleaned but stained but no one came and replenish them we had to ask for clean towels. The tub looked like there were cigarette stains that i had to do a double look because they looked like poop stains and there was a crack in the tub. You could see they tried to repaint but didnt do a very good job at it and the walls had stains of some sort. There was a bug buzzing my ear at night. Finally caught t it and distroyed it. Very disappointing. I had a hard time even giving 1 star...if there was an 0 star option that would be a better rating
I had an unpleasant moment with the hotel receptionist, he assigned me a room that was already occupied, obviously when I saw the door the guests were inside and that caused annoyance between both of us, they should be more careful with their work
Worst place I had ever seen
Dirty, used soap, rude staff. Didn’t honor service dog, had to pay fees for the dog. No smoking signs everywhere but people smoking left and right.
Sorry to say, not a pleasant visit:
Light switch by door didn’t work.
Lamp unplugged…I plugged in.
Mould in shower ceiling.
TV unwatchable on any channel.
Microwave unplugged…I plugged in to use.
Mirror crooked on wall…installed that way…I reflexively tried to straighten it.
$20 cash “pet fee” not disclosed in registration process. Didn’t object to paying, but should have known in advance.
See photos.
I’m unlikely to consider staying at a Rodeway in the future.
Again sorry for this unrelieved negative report…I’ve never written one before.

Good place on way
This motel is old and run down. The doors are delaminated. The walls are dirty and badly need painting. The floors were so sticky that my shoes stuck to them. There were dead bugs on the windowsills, on the washcloths and all over the bathroom counter. We spent the evening killing cockroaches or trying to kill those that got away. The bed was comfortable
