Loved the history in the hotel! Loved that the mall, riverwalk, Alamo were next door and so much to do round the hotel.
The restroom in room. The shower faucet leaked and bathroom stunk.
The location just couldn’t get any better, the Hotel’s name and history is a beautiful a bit old hotel.
Perhaps just the room I stayed in the ac vent was very loud and very strong breeze, and I wasn’t able to adjust it.
I give this hotel a big thumbs up 👍
Staff was so welcoming and enjoyed telling us about the rich history. We’ve stayed there before and like it.
Valet is expensive
The location.
Wasn't clean. The bed, the room, ...
The pool
Room was extremely hard to find and had a ugly view looking at the building
fantastic location beside the alamo. much cheaper car parking available nearby (use Houston road garage - which is state owned and $10 max overnight - pay on exit with no messing about)
annoying dripping shower
Dirty! Everything was wrong with this hotel. I got bit 8-10 times by bugs in the bed. Staff was very rude. The AC didn’t work in the first room so we moved and it was hot in that room as well. The water went from hot to cold and wouldn’t stay at one temperature. There was mold in the fridge. I had asked for new sheets and towels and they had thrown away my pants and sat the bag of trash with the pants and blankets out side of our door over night.
We love the history and atmosphere.
No housekeeping for us and we had to ask for coffee pods and new coffee cups at the front desk and we were only given one coffee cup.
It's a perfect location for the value
The location
Location and history is very cool!
Shower was very short making it difficult to get ready for the day.
