An absolute nightmare- security gone wild- filthy

The manager Robert was professional and pleasant

Cons:

It was a terrible experience from the moment we stepped into the property. The night auditor was very short and unfriendly, Seemed very bothered. We checked into our room then went out to our car for a cigarette where the property security guard approached us in an incredibly aggressive, combative matter where he was essentially accusing us of being trespassing and acting like he was going to kick us off of the property. My husband, who is a disabled vet and suffers from PTSD, was very cooperative but After him carrying on and making a scene for a bit I eventually had to raise my voice to demand his name and the company that he worked for, he eventually disclosed his name as officer trusedale and said he was employed by the hotel (which I later found out was not true). When I began barking questions at him- he ran off. My husband and I then moved our luggage into the room to find an incredible dirty room with someone else’s left over medication and bedding that was covered in burn holes and blood spatter on it, the drawers were screwed shut and the TV was broken. I was still so riled up about the harassment outside that I called the front desk to verify that trusdale was an employee and completely forgot to ask for a new sheet or talk about the room. The night auditor, Gale, apologized for the disturbance but was very dismissive. My Husband and I just got off of a 14 hr drive and was falling off our feet at this point so I layed my head on my syitecase and fell asleep. While I was asleep officer trusdale kept walking past our room door talking to himself about us. My husband went to make sure the door was locked but couldn’t verify because the door frame was all busted up as if the door had been kicked in. My husband did not sleep at all, worried about this security guard gone crazy. When I woke up a few hrs later, I opened my eyes to a wad of black hair on the bed next to me. My husbands bald and I’m a ginger- so that solves that easily.

Place was dirty had people hanging out outside the apartment, area wasn’t the best location also said a smoke free building but had smokers all around us.
