The fact that it’s a small hotel, but still has all facilities for a relaxing stay. While the pool is small and not heated, it was nice to take a dip and s short swim after a hot day of visiting the tourist attractions.
Best salads we had in Rwanda and international influences in other dishes which was a pleasant surprise. Coming from a cold country, we appreciated being able to have all meals outside by the pool.
Nice local stylish decorations in the hotel and the rooms.
We stayed in a small standard room 2 nights, but it still was very comfortable. For the last two nights of our stay in Rwanda we booked a deluxe and got upgraded to a suite which was huge. Beds were comfortable in both rooms and we appreciated the terrace in the suite and being able to air the room so we did not need to use the AC which can be noisy during the night.
We were able to relax in the well kept garden before taking off to the airport, which is a plus.
There is a relaxing vibe in the hotel with soft music and all the staff were attentive to our needs and very discrete.
Nothing that made our stay less enjoyable
We had the suite, which was a fantastic room for a very nice price! Spacious, clean, and stylish.
Price for a the cheapest glass of red wine in the restaurant was 18,000 RWF. Excessive, especially for Rwanda standards.
We stayed at Amata n’Ubuki Boutique Hotel twice during or travels in Rwanda. It is an outstanding small hotel located in a quiet area of Kigali. The staff is great and very accommodating. It is a well appointed boutique hotel with quality art. The meals are great. I especially enjoyed the Osso Buco, it may well be the best I ever had. If you don’t stay there at least visit the restaurant. The hotel is also close to the airport.
There was nothing I didn’t like about Amata n’Ubuki.
Everything was great. It's located in a nice, safe neighborhood. The rooms are perfectly clean and well-maintained. The service from the entire staff is exceptional.
The people at the restaurant are also amazing, but the service generally takes longer than necessary.
staff were very nice and helpful
water pressure, intermittent power failures, speed of internet
Nice courtyard with restaurant by the pool, enhances the boutique experience. Friendly staff. Owner was on premise - chatting with customers. Exhibited art from local artists that enhanced the ambience.
Charlotte and the staff are amazing. The Chef smiles and makes you nice smoothies. This is real African Pride.
I love this hotel and always stay here when in Kigali. The location is close to the Convention Centre, The decor is beautiful with lots of great art. Lovely poolside dining area. Staff are friendly and helpful. . Wi-fi is good. When the owner is in town she always comes by to say hello. You won't be disappointed.
This place is a gem. Immaculate, and in a great location for walking. Lovely meal setting, outdoor and next to pool. Great food. Wonderful local art throughout.
Not a single complaint or suggestion
Room, shower, bed, breakfast, lunch, staff.. I enjoyed everything
Everything was good.
Excellent hotel, incredibly welcoming staff, perfect location.
The staff were very polite and extremely helpful. The room was large and was perfectly clean. Breakfast was included in the price and was generous, tasty and was ready on the expected time after I pre-ordered the night before. The hotel is at 10-15 minutes walk (5 minutes with Move or Taxi) from the KCC and the location is very safe to walk in even on the evening. I did not tried Lunch or Dinner, so can not comment about the food.
I had nothing to complain about. The staff are extremely polite and very helpful, making the guest's experience joyful.
