Red Roof Inn Jacksonville - Orange Park

I came in early and there's normally a $25 early check-in fee but the guy waved it for me and then he also upgraded my room to a room with a refrigerator and a microwave and no extra charge that was very nice of him.

Honestly you should give me back our money. The place was sorry with roaches and mold and sheets were dirty and comforter had burn holes everywhere. It's a terrible place. Customer was great tho but couldn't fix anything

The room i was in was infested with cocker roaches. Everything was outdated. The front door was not secure. Lets just say i wasted my money. The photos are fake on their website.

I was told to leave the property at arrival. My room was cancelled and I was. Charged for the room still

The mattress is molded, needs new beds. Bathrooms need remolded, paint peeling off the ceiling and walls dirty. The rooms need to be painted

The property was dirty, the first room we were given was supposed to be a non smoking and it smelled like smoke and didn’t look that clean. Manager made it right and gave us a freshly cleaned room! There was a car in parking lot that was up on lifts and not from tires. Looked like they were changing out brakes. However, it would be nice knowing it wasn’t going to be there that long but you can tell the vehicle was there for quite a while with cobwebs around it.
Maybe the manager was trying to turn things around but a lot needs to be done! I won’t be staying there anytime soon.

When we arrived police were in the parking lot. Most of the other people staying at the property appeared to be homeless living in the rooms with their pets. The keycards only worked for a few hours after they were updated so we had to get new keycards every day of our stay.

There was a lot of people randomly hanging out on the street milling about and a lot of police presence in the area after dark.

Our room was also not swept very clean, sheets had blood stains and cigarette burns in them. There was also a condom (still in its wrapper, not used thankfully) sitting on top of the closet that was also not cleaned up.

On top of all that we tried to check out early because our house move in was earlier than expected and they gave us a hard time and refused to credit us back for the unused nights because we had booked it via Expedia, even though we paid them directly.

It was ok……hassle free and understandable

AC didn’t work well and kept shutting off.

Floor was dirty and in disrepair. Bathroom smelled of mold. Would not recommend.
