Pros:

Very clean and comfortable and nice sized room with the extra seating.

Cons:

I really did think the frosted see through bathroom door opposite a double mirror was a terrible design idea, not helped by the fact I was sharing with my teenage daugther.

Alles ausser die etwas sehr kleinen Zimmer.

Cons:

Dass es keinerlei Sitzmöglichkeiten draussen gibt Terrasse oder ähnlich….

Very good hotel. Would stay again
Pros:

Lovely room with good shower and very comfortable bed. Located in a hilly area but access at rear of building in Watson Street meant worst hill could be avoided. Good pool, steam room and gym.
Visited bar/restaurant for a drink only. Meals looked good and there was a nice atmosphere in the area.
At 4.00 pm daily (lasting 1 hour) there was ,at the start of February 2026, a free chocolate fountain with sweets, cakes, biscuits etc.
Staff very friendly and helped with baggage when leaving.
Would definitely stay again.

Pleasing stay, indeed
Pros:

Very helpfull and friendly staff. For example, one morning it was rainy, and I got a solid, large umbrella borrowed for a day.

Cons:

One minor thing was the coffee machine in the breakfast, it was very slow and generated a que each morning.

Nice hotel in a good location just outside city centre.
Pros:

Great location. A handy lower ground lift access point to shorten the walk up the hill from town. Nice restaurants nearby.
Great breakfast.

Cons:

Tried twice to charge for parking when it was included in price. No arguments about cancelling it just a bit daft. Didn’t spoil the stay at all.

Civilised Place to Stay
Pros:

15 minutes walk from the waterfront. Valet parking, though expensive, works well. Our check-in was marked by enthusiasm and good advice. Food in restaurant was excellent if pricey. Having a pool and sauna is a plus.

Cons:

Room was a bit tight. Our request for housekeeping to replenish body lotion went unneeded. Short-staffed at check-out - rooky error.
