Very nice hotel
Pros:

The hotel is nice and located on a hill, the staff is very courteous and friendly. Our room was very small, but well equipped and for one night it was fine. In the afternoon, small cakes and chocolate were served. There are many nice restaurants in the area.

Cons:

There are no good parking options and we paid NZ$40 for the garage for one night, that feels pretty overpriced.

Pros:

Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb, auf einer Anhöhe, ca 20‘ Fußweg zum Zentrum.
Es war durchweg positiv, Personal sehr freundlich, Zimmer mit toller Aussicht, sehr sauber und geräumig.
Das Frühstück war große Klasse, es fehlte an nichts.

Aufzug in die Stadt sehr bequem.

Cons:

Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Alles recht dunkel. Klimaanlage sehr laut und wenig verstellbar.

Up on the Hill
Pros:

This was our first stop in New Zealand.
We were upgraded to a larger room. The sitting room was really handy.
Hotel was clean and comfortable.
The staff lovely.
Location was interesting - in the middle of a residential area, up on a hill.
It is walking distance to most places - but there is a hill to go down and back up!!

Outstanding hotel restaurant, superb menu and service
Pros:

I love this hotel, my home away from home in Wellington. Lovely staff, swimming pool and sauna, lovely views over the city, and Forage restaurant menu food and service is superb. 5 star+.

Pros:

Great staff! Desk clerk went out of his way to help us determine cost of sending rental car keys back to Honolulu!! Chocolate fountain. Terrific views. Pool and sauna. Good breakfast

The location was quite peaceful, and room had a beautiful view over the city and harbour.
Pros:

Family suite was comfortable and spacious with great views. Only one bed was a surprise. Swimming pool, sauna and gym facilities were well appointed and well kept.

Cons:

The laundry only had one washing machine and one dryer. Not enough to cater for demand.
Distance from city was far but Uber was cheap and efficient. Views made up for the distance.
