The staff were so kind, the room was ready with a rollaway bed and crib like we requested. Breakfast was great, it was fun to eat outside on the beautiful deck. There was an abundance of pillows (even body pillows!) and the room was very clean. They also had free beach parking passes and the outdoor pool was heated! Hot water was fast and water pressure was good.
The mattresses were a bit uncomfortable

The hotel is in a nice area of Kennebunk and is walkable to downtown. Easy drive to Kennebunkport. The staff are friendly and emptied the resort trash cans every day.
But oh my goodness this property is filthy and somewhat neglected.
-The housekeeping vacuum needs to be serviced. There was dog hair and other items on our carpet when we checked in
-Additionally, the carpet is absolutely filthy and should be steam cleaned. I hope this is part of your yearly or bi-annual maintenance plan.
-During our 2 night stay there was no housekeeping. We were charged a $10/night hotel service fee. But I'm not sure what "services" are being provided, as I didn't see anyone vacuum or skim the pool (which, keeping in theme, was filthy and in need of larger rehabilitation work) Vacuuming the pool should be a daily task especially in busy season. Get a robot vacuum. Hire a high school kid.. I also did not see anyone vacuum or clean the lobby. There was dark hair on the tile floor and breakfast crumbs everywhere throughout our stay. Vacuuming should be a daily task.
Everywhere you look there is evidence of laziness and/or neglect. The pool planters are filled with weeds (it would take a few hours to plant nice flowers, or simply weed the planter, maybe store it away if it won't be used). Please ask a blind company to come in and help you with the lobby curtains. They are so haphazardly hung it looks like something you'd see in a condemned home.

Clean and affordable with nicely kept pool
No rug to wipe your feet on when you came into the room. And we always walked across the black mulch, so we brought it into the room.
