But overall the stay was fine
Cons:

No rug to wipe your feet on when you came into the room. And we always walked across the black mulch, so we brought it into the room.

Good enough, but some improvements needed…..
Pros:

This is a nice motel. It’s functional, clean and well situated. The staff is pleasant and helpful, Breakfast is meh but there are good places within walking breakfar to get a decent breakfast.

Two very specific criticisms:

Housekeeping only comes every other day. so for a 2 night stay, the room is never refreshed. This was an annoyance and something I wish we knew before checking in.

The pool area needs attention. It could be very nice, However, there is only one (faded) umbrella and one table with chairs. The flower containers are empty. Given that it features prominently in the marketing photos, the pool area should be upgraded.

Amazing place we will definitely be going back
Pros:

Easy to get to, very clean, great breakfast, great staff that were always asking if we needed anything and they gave us free passes to the beach which would have cost us $25 park each day
