Table was filthy, dead bugs on ceiling, sticky floor and overall left us dirtier after we took showers than we felt before we took showers. Everything was dirty that we touched. My wife had to wipe down everything!
Was a great experience
Our room was dirty. Cobwebs in every corner. Floors were dirty. The property was unkempt and dirty. Ppl slamming their doors all through the night. Not a pleasant stay.
Floors were filthy, sand in the tub, patio screen door was ripped open
I recently stayed in this hotel, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. While the view from the room was stunning, the overall experience left much to be desired.
Upon entering the room, I was immediately disappointed by the cleanliness. The room was very dirty, with visible dust on the furniture, the floor was extremely dirty, and the bathroom had clearly not been thoroughly cleaned. The toilet was in poor condition, with some parts broken, and there were several other maintenance issues, such as broken locks on the door and sliding glass door that didn’t seem secure.
To add to the frustration, a few light bulbs were missing, which made the room feel dim and uninviting. It's the little things that make a difference, and the lack of attention to these details really stood out.
On a positive note, the view from the room was fantastic. It provided a beautiful panorama of the of the lake, which was a definite highlight and almost made up for the room’s shortcomings. However, considering the price I paid, I expected a much cleaner and more functional space.
Overall, while the view is worth mentioning, I can’t overlook the state of the room. I would not recommend staying here unless the hotel addresses the cleanliness and maintenance issues.
This hotel is very old and run down. We were checked into the 127 King suite with a jacuzzi. The walls had wall paper falling off of them, severed lamp plug-ins with missing on/off switches. The room smelled of bleach. There was dust and hair balls collecting at the back of the bed and stains on the mattress. The bathroom floor corners were rotting out and softs, covered with caulk but the caulk did not hold. We requested to be checked into another room because I was afraid of black mold issues. They moved us to a second suite 125. The walls were much better, but the place was still dirty. This time the show had a hairball sitting in the drain, hairballs outside of the jaccuzzi. The toilet did not flush and could not shut the back patio door. We requested our room to be cleaned and fix the toilet. Upon returning from dinner the hair ball from the shower was removed and the toilet fixed. I was very dissatisfied with the lack of cleanliness and up keep of this hotel. I would strongly suggest staying else were.
Welcoming at service desk, Great Lake view from balcony!
Property wasn’t kept up very well, definitely needs to be revamped. Could tell place hadn’t been cleaned properly. Was very underwhelming for the price
Room was dirty. Bed was clean and comfortable. Some of the lights didn't work. Room was extremely outdated, and overpriced.
Location is nice. Hole in the shower? Spider in the tub. Cob webs in the ceiling throughout the room. Limited electrical outlet (1 by the bed). Bottles on the balcony when we first walked in the room. I don't think the room has been cleaned for awhile? Never a good sign when you see a toilet plunger Bed was comfortable.
Close to the Island shipping doc
Property is dirty, spider webs on all guard rails, porch looks like no one cleaned anything for years, outdoor carpet rotted chairs full of spider webs and the beach sand by the hotel had garbage and debris. stairwell full of spider webs.
Room was average but clean, lamp did not work next to bed and patio door was very hard to open.
The computers were not working correctly. They double billed me. The hotel is well used and shows it. Need some serous maintenance and upgrades.floor is soft and spongy, holes in walls. Granola bars and water for continental breakfast. Room was clean and staff friendly. Its a bed and shower but not much more.
There was no complimentary breakfast, only brownies oatmeal bar. The windows looked old, beddx to replaced. The floor lamps covers are broken, jusf hanging there. The tv is too small to watch while i was leaning against the bed wall. It needs a bigger tv in the bedroom. Im not coming back to this hotel.
There was hair in tub and on the floor and toilet. The caulk around the tub on the floor needs to be cleaned up. The floors need to be mopped! The room itself was comfortable.
There were bugs everywhere, there was unchanged bed sheets in one of our beds. The internet sucks. It really sucked there.
The room was mediocre at best. It was not really clean. It was dusted down, clean bed sheets, and clean towels. The floor in room and bathroom weren't that clean. I could still feel a grittiness on the floor possibly from sand, which is understandable because it is beachfront. The hot tub in the room worked so so. The jets weren't very powerful but it was a big tub at the least. The balcony was filled with spider webs and spiders, it looked as if they never dust the webs off. Overall we only went there to sleep and spend time on the balcony watching the lake and the nightfall. It is a good location if you pick the beachfront room, the large price is due to the view and hot tub. I'm not sure that was worth it but live and learn.
Perfect spot for The Labor Day Bridge Walk
Was within easy walking distance to restaurants and ferry but differently needed some unkeep
The lady at the desk was great, but the room had a strange smell, wasn't the cleanest and was small. The beach access was good and the location was convenient to the shops and restaurants.
