I liked its location. It's a short drive to downtown Frederick. Close to the highway exit. Its inside of what it looks like a nice neighborhood. It has gas stations, grocery stores, pharmacy close by which is convenient. It serves breakfast, but don't expect much. Check out is at 11.
It's only 2 floors but no elevator. The refrigerator was not cold at all, the AC needs improvement,. No first floor bathroom unless you have your room key. Mainlobby needs a more inviting atmosphere. They need to pest control. I got in the room and started to feel itchy. I couldn't sleep and when I woke up I had red bug bites all over my body. The pillows could be more comfortable.
The bed was very comfortable and room was clean.

The room was spacious, with a new smart TV and a cozy reading corner. The bed was comfortable, and we were provided with more than enough spotless towels.
The floor didn’t look completely clean, mainly because of the old carpet, so it would have been nice to have disposable slippers. During the night, an old blanket started coming out from inside the bedding, which wasn’t particularly pleasant. The bathroom is very small, to the point that the sink is actually located in the entryway. I personally didn’t mind that too much, but the toilet and shower area is definitely quite cramped and awkward to use. Check-out is at 11, which is great, but breakfast ends at 9:30, which seems a little inconsistent.
The staff was very friendly, and the building itself was clean and well maintained.
The AC in the room barely worked, and it never got anywhere near as cold as it should have.

The entire hotel smelled like cigarettes my room smelled like cigarettes, the door handle in the bathroom was broken off, the tub could’ve been cleaned better. There was hair in the tub when I arrived
The rug smelled horrible. The bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was lacking, all bread carbs no fruit or yogurt

For $157 definitely not worth the cost
I originally had reservations at a different hotel, but I picked the best western because it had breakfast and a pool only to find out the pool was closed so I couldn’t swim
They originally gave me a second floor, and you have no elevator. There was no way I can carry my luggage up those flight of stairs without a luggage cart.
I would not recommend or go back
area was nice and bed was comfortable that was only positive
plastic sticking out of bottom of beds that mattresses were on a metal platform sticking out also . sink outside bathroom bathroom with shower and toilet to small and the shower you can tell mold was covered up with bathroom shower fitter that was all chipped ...drop ceiling in bathroom was all water sained and looked like it was going to fall ...they should really renovate the place ..not well kept at all ...quite dusty...and we left sign on door to clean room and replenish towels were out all day and it wasn't done....called front desk i i was told i had to come get towels.
i would never stay there again
