Pros:

The room was excellent, large at besideone of the two pools on site. Walking access to the strip of restaurants and cafes along the main road through Sigiriya. Walking distance to the Sigiriya Rock and Pidurangala Rock.

Cons:

I have an Airalo esim and that had poor reception throught Sigiriya and the II Frangepani internet was patchy

Good value for money for exploring Sigiriya or just chilling at the hotel during the warm hours.
Pros:

Spacious, clean, beautiful garden. Also relatively close to the main attractions (within a couple minutes drive). Extremely friendly and helpful staff!

Cons:

Bad smell from the bathroom.

Pros:

The location is great. Can walk to some lovely restaurants for dinner, as well as espresso bar on corner. Two good restaurants next door. Only minutes to the rock. The boys that work there are exceptionally friendly and engaging. Genuine care and smiles. The rooms are large and shower has good pressure etc. fridge in room. Amazing breakfast and each day. Enough sun lounges by the pool which is constantly cleaned.

Cons:

I was upstairs and loved the view and the privacy however things falling on the roof in the wind or monkeys perhaps jumping on roof woke me sharply. If a light sleeper perhaps pick downstairs or pack good earplugs. Wifi was spotty (to be expected I guess). The rooms do not have a TV. Again doesn’t worry me. I like music and reading and up early for activities. Just a note for some.

A beautiful, peaceful stay with wonderful staff, amazing wildlife and a delicious breakfast.
Pros:

We loved how warm and friendly all the staff were. The property is very accessible, surrounded by lots of beautiful wildlife, and the breakfast each morning was absolutely lovely.

Lovely place but overpriced
Pros:

This hotel is in a quiet area within easy walking distance of cafes and shops. We walked to lions Rock. The grounds are gorgeous and the staff are delightful. There is a friendly bunny in the yard.

Cons:

The room is painted all black so natural light is minimal. The artificial lighting is garish to the point that we preferred no lights at all. The air conditioner was loud so we found it hard to sleep. The hotel is overpriced for these reasons.

Highly recommend everything
Pros:

Highly recommend peaceful location, cleanliness, bathroom, breakfast, large bed and absolutely perfect relaxing pool. Staff were so kind and thoughtful and assisted us with any requests. We had a birthday and they very kindly supply a cake. They had a resident rabbit and kittens.

Loved this property with great pool and staff!
Pros:

We absolutely loved this property! We had a room which shared a private pool with only 3 other rooms and usually we had it to ourselves. The room was very spa ious and the staff were great, serving a lovely breakfast. We appreciated walking to nearby restaurants for dinner, especially La Dolce Vita where we ate twice.

Cons:

The room could have had more lounge furniture but we enjoyed using the sofa by the pool and the outdoor lounge chairs.

Insgesamt können wir die Unterkunft aber wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Die Lage ist ideal, um Sigiriya und die Umgebung zu
Pros:

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Gastgeber und Mitarbeiter waren ausgesprochen gastfreundlich, herzlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind groß und geräumig, und die gesamte Anlage ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Man merkt, dass sich alle sehr bemühen, die Anlage in einem tollen Zustand zu halten.

Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker, sodass für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei war.

Cons:

Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Die Haustür ließ sich leider nicht richtig schließen und die Zimmer waren teilweise etwas hellhörig.

Ein kleines Paradies! Tolle Unterkunft, sehr nettes Personal, leckeres Frühstück, sehr gepflegt und sauber. Wir (4 köpfige Familie) haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt!

Pros:

Très bonne surprise ! Le logement était même mieux que ce que nous imaginions, et parfaitement conforme à la description. L'hôtel est bien entretenu et très charmant. Le personnel a été très gentil, accueillant et toujours serviable. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour et recommandons cet établissement sans hésitation.
