This room was so nice. It was poolside and was a very generous size. Bathroom was excellent and the shower was lovely. We loved the location as it was literally just set back from a busy street so was nice and quiet and next to some lovely restaurants which were all reasonably priced. Staff were very laid back, chilled and very helpful. We organised a driver to take us to polonnaruwa where we rented a bike and had a look round. Their driver was well priced and friendly. Thing to note is that Sigiriya is very commercial now but as long as you are ok with that then all is well

We had a great stay in il Frangipane. We were in one of the new rooms (would recommend), pool area was lovely. Great location, easy to walk to restaurants etc. Staff were super helpful organising trips & drivers for us.

Die Lage ist zentral, das Hotel liegt trotzdem ruhig und nicht an der Hauptstraße. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind groß und schön eingerichtet.

何よりもスタッフの人たちが親切でとーっても素敵な宿でした！お部屋も清潔で広くてベッドもひろいので伸び伸びと寝れます。スーツケースも運んでくれはるし、やさしくて会話も弾む、とってもいいお宿です。近くにカレー屋さんも沢山あるしSPAもあるので、ぜひここに泊まることをオススメします！

The rooms were very spacious and situated around one of the pools, breakfast was excellent too. Very friendly and helpful staff that couldn’t do enough for you.

Location - excellent.
Beautiful landscaping in the gardens and around the swimming pool.
Upstairs room with spacious balcony ,sofa provided to view the gorgeous plants and flowers.
The room was very very clean , spacious and comfortable- has air conditioning.
The toilet very nicely presented, with great shower and good water pressure.
Fridge , tea coffee& kettle provided also .

The best breakfast we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far .
Choices of eggs - lots of fresh fruit, fruit juices ( tropical fruits)
Wide selection of Sri Lanka teas - spoiled for choice.
We did not eat our evening meal here, and it is available, so I have no doubt it would have been good and again to a great standard too .
The staff were extremely helpful, warm and friendly.
Honestly it was a pleasure to stay here - 2 night stay.

Everything was perfect! The room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the staff was extremely kind and attentive. You can really feel they care and do their best to make your stay pleasant.

Stayed for three nights. Rooms were very big and I had a pool facing room, which was one of four rooms around a private pool, really nice set up. The other pool looked great and was surrounded by lovely gardens. We counted 9 types of birds one morning while sitting at breakfast as well as the ever present squirrels. We only had breakfast which was basic but tasty, plentiful and hit the spot. The guys running the place were great and couldnt help us enough. Lots of restaurants close by and it was a short 10 minute walk to town. I dont think booking.com or the facebook page really do this place the justice it deserves. I wasnt really sure what it would be like but I was more than happy despite a couple of minor improvements. Really good value for money in my opinion.

Skønt og meget flot sted, med masser af planter og en god pool. Morgenmaden var god. Det bedste ved stedet er den fremragende service fra personalet, der gør besøget til en stor fornøjelse.
