Fantastic management, the food/restaurant is great and the location is magic. They also have great pool and sauna facilities. One of the best hotels in the region!

Ron and Stephanie are wonderful hosts. The rooms are large, modern and well maintained. The grounds and historic setting are amazing. During a 4 night stay, we ate almost all of our meals at the hotel. Great variety and well prepared. This is a top notch gem in beautiful Upper Pfalz Bavaria. Highly recommended.

Ruhige Lage. Gut ausgestattet. Restaurant einwandfrei. WLAN gut. Zimmer sauber (wenngleich hier und da nicht staubfrei).

Nächste Ortschaft mit allem nötigen ca. 5 km entfernt.

Fantastic hotel in the middle of rural Germany. We had a dinner at the restaurant but service was really slow and it costed double comparing to the little restaurant on the top of the hill just 5 mins walk away from the hotel (which also was way better quality and service)

Geen al te vriendelijk personeel, lang moeten wachten bij inchecken vooraleer ik iemand zag.
De kamer was sterk verouderd en er hing een onaangename geur in de kamer, ook het sanitair liet te wensen over : sissend toilet, zeer hoge doucherand waar men moest over stappen.
In het restaurant waren ze mijn salade vergeten.

The hotel is located in the middle of a green area in Germany. The place is calm and quiet. Personnel is very kind and helpful. There is a very nice pool and sauna that we could book for a couple of hours!

The room we got had bad ventilation. It got quite hot and humid during the night. Finally,
I cannot recommend the food. Dinner was simple and quite low standard despite very expensive. Breakfast was good but basic, but perhaps it is because of the COVID-19 situation.

Very nice countryside hotel, very friendly staff and good service. Organized lunch after a long hiking trip even though the cook was on his way home and lunchhours were over. Due to Corona restrictions we had the spa to ourselves in one hour slots, which was nice. Situated 40 minutes outside Nuremberg, in beautiful settings. All in all very nice 3-night stay.

Nice place in the countryside. We enjoyed getting away from the busy autobahn for some time on our way back home and this kind of hotel and this kind of area was just right for us. Clean, good beds, big family room, friendly service, beautiful garden with its old mill, a breakfast to our liking and an enjoyable nice-looking swimmingpool. We went for an evening walk around a charming lake nearby. Good value for money!
