Econo Lodge Rolla I-44 Exit 184 Near Missouri University of Science and Technology

Bed and bath were OK, everything else was run down. Fridge didn't work. Unless you like Donettes, the breakfast was a joke.

We had 2 rooms adjoining and both were recently remodeled and very nice. Will stay there again if we're in the area again.

Clean room and comfy bed.

It was perfect to stop and stay

Bathroom floor was dirty, toilet seat was dirty, blood on towel parking lot loud and busy after 11p, large dead spider near tv stand showing proof the room wasn’t throughly cleaned

I booked a non-smoking room and was out in a smoking room (ashtrays were still dirty even), desk assistant was pleasant and switched the room. 2nd room: ac wouldn’t work. I pushed reset on the plugged and plugged it back in and it sparked a bit and instantly stopped again. Desk assistant was apologetic and offered a room on the 2nd floor. Stairs are very hard for me but it’s late, we’re tired, I accepted. 3rd room: DIRTY! A wad of hair under the sheet in my bed (looked like it went through the laundry but was obvious and housekeeping should have handled it not made the bed with it). Daughter’s bed had pubic hair in it and a stain on the blanket! That’s enough but in case you want the list (things I found BEFORE the hair because we then left immediately!):
1. I always check for bedbugs - no real signs of them but piles of old crusty bugs up against the bed and the mattress and box springs were stained filthy!
2. Empty Kleenex box - no replacement to be found
3. No soap at sink but did find some near the tub
4. Hairdryer covered in some dried on crud
5. Floor so dirty my daughter threw away the socks she had walked on it with.
At this point we left and I drove the 3 hrs home in the middle of the night.
The desk assistant DID offer for me to try a 4th room. I declined.

Area was very quiet. Close to the freeway. Property and rooms are a bit dated.

It was okay for price. The bathroom was not very clean with gray soap scum covering the inside of the tub. The rest of the room wasn’t too bad, just out dated.

1st room was fake clean. Meaning looked clean but the more we looked the more we found that was dirty such as wet towels in bathroom and I cleaned shower.
Next room they moved us to was ok. Ac took 3 hrs to cool down. Our feet were black from walking around the room as if they never mopped the floors.

Horrible place.

This hotel is very rundown. We found less than half a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, low batteries in the TV remote, and they wouldn't even bring us what we needed, but asked that we come to the office to get it ourselves.

Glad we could leave our dog in the room alone while we went out to dinner.

When the sign said free pastries and coffee complimentary, I was expecting a little more. Only offered packaged chocolate and white sugar mini donuts and packaged fruit bars.

Room was very clean, although could use an update. Easy access to interstate.

1st room, I ttook pictures of lock on door frame was completely broken like someone kicked in door before.. 2nd room, dirt in bathroom, mold around tub fixtures, in tub shower head sprayed all over( calcium buildup) made so couldn't adjust to try to fix, dirt/ hair on mattress cover under sheets. I took pictures. I booked online, as I was traveling. I chose because advertised continental breakfast, when arrived note in lobby said complimentary pastries and coffee 6 AM- 9 AM. In the morning they had a basket of packaged granola bars or powdered sugar donuts etc. not. Fresh pastries. Also there were ants in room on the bathroom vanity.

Front Desk wanted to charge me more for a non smoking room when my reservations were for a non smoking room. I showed him the receipt from Hotels.com and he said he didn’t care what it said, on his end it said I reserved a smoking room. When I got to the room, there were bugs in the bathtub everytime I turned the lights on. There was a huge wad of hair in the bathroom floor. The blankets had burn holes in them. The furniture was broke and the tv didn’t work.

Staff was very kind & efficient. Rooms were old but clean. No bed bugs, used mattress covers & watched housekeeping pull off & wash comfortrrs
