Everything was absolutely wonderful. Seemed a bit pricey, but didn't matter to us.

The staff is always friendly and accommodating.
The rooms are lovely, spacious, beds are comfortable and the room was very clean.
We had a water view from our room and it was so relaxing to see the gentle stream when looking out the windows.
The ladies at the spa were very helpful when I had questions regarding products I wanted to purchase.
The boutique is a fun shopping experience, it has lovely clothes for sale and unique gifts for yourself birthdays, holidays or for you girlfriends.
We were fortunate to be there while they were having their sale on for seasonal clothing and home decor.
I signed up for their rewards program, each purchase of gifts from the boutique, resort stay or food purchase from the restaurant accumulates points and once you acquire the 1000 points you can use you points towards spa pampering, purchases at the boutique or even a tasty bite at the restaurant.
This was our 3rd time staying at Riverwalk Resort, it wont be our last, such a nice little get away.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, and the sleeping arrangements (2 queen beds) were satisfactory. The furniture showed some wear. The bathroom was nice and spacious. The facility has on site dining, but it is not open for breakfast (it would be nice if it were since only continental breakfast is provided.) A spa is also located on the premises. I did not get a chance to use it. A boutique is also on site. The clothing is very nice and of good quality but pricey (but I did purchase an item.) Our check-in was ok, but only one person was at the desk, so we had to wait until they were finished with a phone call helping someone before we were checked in. The grounds are beautiful, park like (facility is used regularly for weddings.) and the dining facility featured a variety of choices which we did partake of. The meals were at prices comparable to other dining facilities.

This facility was nice. The sleeping arrangements (2 Queen beds) met my needs. Some of the furnishings show some wear to them. Also, only continental breakfast is served. A dining facility is on site, but it is not open for breakfast.

I needed to disconnect and relax in a quiet place.
The Riverwalk in Gladwin, MI offered all of the above.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to book any massages while I stayed there during the weekday and will just have to do so on my next trip.
The In- house dining experience was great with ample variety of options, however I noticed some inconsistency on the to go charges. For example I wasn't charged for the 10% to go fee on the first couple times I ordered food but on the last day, I saw a 10% to go fee on my bill and I didn't see it written anywhere on the website nor print out menu. I'm not at all complaining about the to go fee, however it would be nice to know and to have consistency.
Overall, it was a great stay and experience and will consider of going back.

Unfortunately we were given a handicapped room where the bathroom was adapted. We would not have chosen that or a first floor room with a window exposed to the parking lot. Also the plumbing from above bathrooms was very noisy.

Room was excellent. Love the shower. Beautiful scenery.

Check in was quick and easy. Room was. Clean and comfortable. The only minor issue I had was the tub was very slippery when taking a shower

Checked in at 11pm and the building was locked. Had to call someone to come open the door. It wasn’t a big deal but it was just weird and awkward. Facility advertises itself as a luxury spa. It is a glorified office building with 3-star suites and 2 star amenities. Bed was comfortable. Bedding was not. Tub was fine but the water smelled like mold. Carpet around tub was clean. But it was bare bones in the room. Every detail was as cheap as possible. Just an all-around weird place. Felt completely overcharged for the quality.

Beautiful hotel, indoor and especially outdoor. On the river, and beautifully landscaped area. Everyone was really nice and welcoming. Good restaurant on site with good service. Would definitely stay here again.

I would like to thank Selena for the outstanding customer service. She listened to my situation and used compassion instead of corporate protocol. We arrived late after a long day dealing with a family medical emergency. Her kindness made this worried mother rest a bit easier.

We held my daughter’s wedding at Riverwalk Place this past weekend. I can’t say enough about how great our experience was. The venue is gorgeous and accommodated our very large event perfectly. The food was fantastic and the staff was wonderful. A special shout out to staffer Greg who made sure every detail of our wedding ceremony and reception was perfect. That guy was everywhere, doing everything, all the time. He is an absolute GEM! The bridesmaid and groomsmen suites were incredible and made the weekend so special for the whole bridal party. Thanks, Riverwalk Place, for helping make my daughter’s dream wedding a reality.

Hotel was better than expected, clean room and beautifully maintained exterior. Excellent walking path along the river that’s adjacent to the hotel.

The next morning snack was bland and not having any taste. Two bites and it was in the trash. The yougart was okay (prepackaged).

Lovely place. Beautiful family size rooms with lovely kitchen and balcony. Restaurant is pretty good albeit expensive. As for the room, we were on the third floor and the water pressure is very weak. Also it takes quite a long time for hot water to travel up to the faucets. Would be great if besides a trash can in the kitchen they also had a can for recyclables. Also a pad of paper was no where to be found. Previous guests started tearing pages out of the guest log book.

Great staff, clean room, bed comfortable. Beautiful landscape. A great get away.
