Regrets rerets regrets. up charged for the hurricaine(Helene) asked if we wanted non smoking and was given a room that reeked so bad a half a can of lysol didnt help. other short coming but i will not go on. we only stayed because we were on the road for 14 hours and too exhausted to leave. if you choose to go ask to inspect the room before you pay.
Shower didn't work correctly, hair in tub, soap open, shampoo open. The only good thing about this hotel is it had a wonderful bed and it slept well.
Dirty and dilapidated. There was white mold on the front of the refrigerator. There were pieces of the wall that were broken as well as the ceiling. There was a light fixture just free dangling from the ceiling with no bulb. The place smelled terrible. I should have paid more and gone to someplace else.
Completely disgusting. Duct tape on the floors, several cracks in the walls, overall gross smell, broken furniture, even more gross walls. Front desk kept trying to sell me stuff. Lobby is covered in some kind of merchandise they apparently they are using the hotel lobby as a shop. Told me some sob story about a homeless gentleman they were trying to help and i gave $2 and he had the audacity to ask me to make it $5. No ammenties. Dirty towels, not even a box of kleenex to blow your nose. I should have checked reviews before paying $120 for this shitbag room. I asked hotels.com to remove the property from their list. Im not the only bad review.
The shower head was broken, hot water was minimal and the AC barely worked ... Negative stars out of 5
The bathroom was dirty, toilet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months, toilet leaked and hairs on floor. No bath size towels available. If it hadn’t been late at night and need for rest would have left! Overcharged at $130 including tax. Would never stay at another Economy Inn! Gross!
Hotel is worn, shabby and needs upgrading. Did NOT offer continental breakfast as advertised. Certainly not worth the rate charged.
We stayed at the Economy Inn,
1223 Radford Blvd in Dillon SC on 7/31/22. There was a caked up brown substance on the wall, broken seals on the toilet that were covered in dirt and flaking rust. I saw bugs by the bed and what looked like white tablets on the bottom of the nightstand. Thank God I had Lysol and Clorox wipes with me. My husband and I had been traveling for 2 weeks so I had my own sheets and pillows. After spraying the mattress I used my own linens. The only reason we even stayed was because my husband was dead tired and the man at the front desk wouldn’t answer the phone. (Using my phone I might add because the phone in the room wasn’t even hooked up in the wall!!!) We walked down to the office to get a refund but the clerk wouldn’t come to the front desk!! When we first checked in, he had told my husband it was 150$ and when my husband turned to leave the guy said how about 130$. Finally he said if you pay cash it’ll be 103$. That should of been our first warning sign to run. I’m appalled that people can be treated this way. I didn’t bother reading reviews on this motel because it was late and my husband was tired. I wish I had of made time to read them because we would of drove right on past. Yes, we could of left, that’s why I’m not checking to see what I could do to get a refund. I’m on here hoping something will be done about this place. I shouldn’t of had to clean the place so we wouldn’t get sick. I dirtied 3 wash clothes and 2 towels wiping down the walls, floors, tub and toilet. We got there around 9 p.m and left after my husband got 4 hours sleep. Like I said, I don’t expect a refund but I would love something to be done about this nasty motel. I have my receipt and some photos. Thank you.
My husband and I decided to book an overnight stay because we needed some rest. We were greeted by your front desk employee who took about 30 + minutes to confirm our reservation. The lobby was dirty and smelled... after telling him that we wanted a ground floor room, he tries to give us a 2nd floor rm. The entire time he's trying to sell us nuts. I explained that I was allergic. He didn't want to take no for an answer. At this point I really was feeling uncomfortable. Told my husband that I'm canceling this (free cancelation via booking.com) employee became unnerving...kind of scary. Tried to make us pay a cash fee for canceling...we said absolutely no. I didn't trust him at this point ...I snatched the paperwork from the desk and went outside. This fool actually charged at me..and scratched me...a female..smh!! My husband had to step in...I ended up calling the police...the police did void out all paperwork with their badge numbers. This employee must be on drugs... I wouldn't let a stray dog stay there during a blizzard!!!!!

Not only was the hotel room filthy, mold covered, and falling apart, but the hotel employee banged on our door at 2:40am waking us up to ask us a question that certainly could have waited until morning. Overall it was the worst hotel I have every stayed in.
No microwave no refrigerator no iron just a little piece of soap three people and a lot of problems with the breakfast.
The room was obviously not cleaned, possibly after multiple uses. Visible crumbs, trash, debris. Towels and sheets filthy. No toilet paper. Trash containers had trash from prior users. Ceiling had large 5 foot sagging, paint peeling area from a prior leak. Floor was soft and sagging near AC unit. Utterly disgusting. I wouldn’t have stayed but I was desperate for sleep after a day of driving. The building should be condemned. Never stay here.
I didn't stay at this hotel, I didn't have a vacancy. I want my refund???
Room smelled.
Microwave had been torn off mount and not replaced.
Thermostat didn’t work.
Very unhygienic and noisy. Toilet was broken. Half of the lights not working. No smoke detector in the room. Expedia says breakfast included as well as refrigerator and microwave in the room. Unfortunately none of these!
The desk clerk had no record of my Expedia reservation. He did have a room but charged me $20.00 more than I had agreed to online through Expedia. The room was filthy, and there was no free breakfast as promised. There was no breakfast at all. I will never use this motel again.
Dirty. Charged more at checkin. The whole place looks run down
First thing I noticed was missing both a microwave and minifreg. Very dirty and rundown, from the holes in the blankets to mold in the bathroom. I checked in at 9pm and at 11:30pm the manager was banging on the door staying my card did not work. It wasn't declined at check-in and showed my bank was charged. He simply said I have to pay in cash or get out. I told him I'm not paying cash after being charged so I packed and left. Don't waste your time or money on this place, they are scammers.
This place was dirty and had bugs in the room. Stayed for no more than a hour and they wouldn’t give us a refund.
Tv worked fine, HBO and showtime too. No bugs seen, comfortable beds, nice maid each day. Heater was fast, big window thick and insulative, nice artistic scroll at top of wall, top powerful microwave, raised sidewalk to keep cars from crashing into you or room, plus big speed bump so no one runs over your kid.
