The property did not meet cleanliness expectations. Upon arrival, it was noticeably dirtier than advertised, which was disappointing. With more thorough cleaning, the stay could have been much better.

Place is nice, it is for surfers, there is no beach, the road to get to the place is rougher, need a high truck.
Waves are high, and loud.

We absolutely loved our stay at Costa Oeste. It is the most beautiful corner of the world, right on a swimmable beach. There are at least 3 (good) restaurants within walking distance, in addition to the fantastic food and cocktails at the hotel. There are also the most gorgeous cats that live there (I fell in love with them). We were there for 4 nights with our two kids (11 and 15) who loved it also. Its calm, peaceful, and heavenly. Thanks to the staff that made it so special for us.

The hotel and staff was great and so weee the owners. They built this hotel and are very involved with the daily operations. We arrived and were happy and when we left we were very sad to leave

Terrible experience. The attention of the concierge was poor; they had very little knowledge of the area. I had car trouble, and they basically told me that usually when that happens, they don't do anything. It's completely up to the client to and to the guest to find a way to solve the situation. Not even recommend a taxi or transportation guy to take me to where my car was.

There's flies all over the food and the eating area. The food was mediocre, the rooms were not cleaned properly (we didn't get our towels changed) and basically there was absolutely no guidance on the area and nearby attractions or hotels etc.

It was a very bad experience and I wouldn't recommend it. I definitely would not give the red rating as Aim on Hotels.com.

We loved our stay at Costa Oeste! It was perfect for our family vacation with two kids under 10 years old. The rooms were comfortable (and air conditioned), the breakfast was fantastic, the staff were very friendly, the pool was a hit with the kids, and the beach was stunning. It was hard to leave!

Great service, beautiful view, friendly staff, delicious food. Just as pictured. Access to world class surf breaks, clean pool, nice music. Comfortable beds, pillows and sheets.

We loved the stay, however there was not enough seating outside by the pool to accommodate all of the guests.

Beautiful location, very friendly staff

Hotel was great on pictures which is why we originally chose it, but hotel staff and manager seemed more interested in other things then their guests. First night, the power and wifi "went out", or so we were told. But being there was only one other couple staying, we learned its often cheaper for them to stop the generator to save a few dollars, then to care that we had a fan rotating above us on a humid night or wifi for the next 16 hours (which i only learned of after asking why the plugins and wifi didn't work, and was offered a solar plug in the office.) Overall, we just got the vibe that our 2 nights wasnt a big deal to them and which is quite surprising coming into the wet season when occupancies are very low. So with that saod, if customer service is somethimg you value, look down the road north of them with many other options.

Todo bien, bastante cómodo y relajado la estancia, si quieres descansar es una de las mejores opciones!! El unico inconveniente que tuvimos fue que; la segunda habitación se pagó con a/c pero habia un aire portátil el cual no helaba lo suficiente

Loved my stay as a solo traveler at Costa Oeste. Quiet area around Santana Beach. Very chilled out. Room was comfy, AC was cold, food was good, staff was great — and the best sunsets. Location was very walkable with two markets and a handful of restaurants nearby. Enough friendly travelers around when you want a chat, but not so many it feels overrun. Perfect spot for a beach escape.

We had the best stay at Costa Oeste! The staff are all wonderful, the food was delicious, everything was clean and looked exactly as it does in the photos. Couldn’t recommend it enough!
