Pros:

We walked in the room and immediately walked out because it reeked of cigarettes. While we were walking out to the lobby to try to get a different room, someone else walked out of another room into the hallway with a lit cigarette in their hand. This hotel does not enforce their own no-smoking rule. We left and found a better place. The man at the front desk was apologetic and understanding, though.

Check in was easy and the staff was friendly however the entire property was old and run down. The furniture in the room was old, worn, ripped and scratched. The blanket on the bed had a burn hole in it. The carpet was stained and had ? wax on it. The bottom of the bathroom door was damaged. I had to slam the door to the room to close it. I did not feel safe walking in from the parking lot, into the building and down the hall to my room.

Starting with the 'bad' so I can end on a high note. The WiFi was spotty at best. In the evening, it was subject to numerous hesitations. In the morning, it was nonexistent. Fortunately, I had my phone as a backup. The exterior is showing its age, to a degree. Nothing a *good* paint job can't take care of.

Now the good. Came with both a microwave and a fridge - not all in this price range do that. Quiet - even though we were kinda near a highway. Clean. Floors, sheets - everything was clean. The front desk was courteous, helpful and almost cheerful! Again a pleasant surprise in this price range.

All in all, this is a perfect place for a traveler needing simple overnight accommodations on a long roadtrip.

We picked this place cause it was affordable, and i wanna preface by saying that it served our purpose well enough. But it's not the best place to stay if you can afford it.

The blankets and curtains were torn. The bathtub looks dirty. The floor is damp.

Kathy is very nice and helpful. The other dude who works the reception is not nice at all. 0 stars for him.
