Staff price location, breakfast buffet was great.

Cons:

There was no drinking water in the room.
There was hardly any choice of in room dining options on the menu, only Hawaiian pizza available and it was lukewarm. Even though I picked it up immediately.

Melb weekender
Pros:

Location is central and a short walk to Southbank, Botanic Gardens, tram and trains. Good selection of food buffet breakfast. Great view of Yarra from our room.

Cons:

Stayed two nights. 2nd morning buffet breakfast found most of the food just warm. Coffee cupboard in room bit small.

A very impressive middle standard hotel.
Pros:

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. A reasonably sized, modern room in good order with all the necessary appointments. Brilliantly priced and a very generous breakfast. The staff were particularly hospitable, I will definitely use this place again for a Melbourne visit.

Cons:

It was quite well placed for Flinders St station. I had a train from Southern Cross the next morning and it was only mildly inconvenient to get there. No big deal at all.
