Lovely short stay. Great value for money and friendly staff

Good value for money. Clean, tidy, walk everywhere location. Plenty of parking, nice older style beach side motel with windows that open. If back this way will be happy to come back.

A dated property but kept clean and staff are helpful.
Breakfast could be a little better

Friendly staff, good location, squeaky floor boards , people above , ( I know there’s nothing they can do about that) , wallpaper needs sticking down badly , standard double room, you get what you pay for .

This hotel is aimed at older clients, we felt a little out of place as a family. A pity the welcome was a group of smokers surrounding the front door.
It was clean but the bathroom was in a terrible state - dripping toilet through the night, poor shower pressure, door didn't shut properly, hooks broken off the door and no blind so you looked down on the crazy golf from the shower if you were tall.
Very nice staff, breakfast was good. Location is great.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff is very attentive and hardworking. They did their best to accomodate our requests.
The breakfast was good and has a few options.
It is very close to the beach and centre ans also has parking available.

Matina apts are in a great location right next to the beach. The pool area are great. Food at the pool bar is great value and nicely presented. All staff are friendly and helpful. Staff also remember you as people come year after year to these apts. You feel comfortable and safe.

Beautiful hotel on sea front was close to the pier and other attractions such as Paignton zoo, variety of pubs and restaurants for dining. Overall a great experience for the kids and convenient for the parents or any couple wanting a sea side holiday.

The location was fantastic and the hotel even provided entertainment.

The rooms are a little dated and basic; however, this does not affect your experience. Overall great stay

Friendly staff and great location. Hotel a little dated, but many are in Paignton. Hotel clean, room spacious and clean. Room did feel hot and a bit stuffy in hot weather, even with window open. Good there was onsite parking, although spaces are tight. Location great for exploring the town and very close to park and pier. Great for a one night stay.

Room felt very dated, walls were thin could hear the people next door and could hear every footstep of the people above us as well as them talking.

The room had a lovely view, comfortable enough, all you need was there. Staff was great, brekafast was good,too.

Toilet flush wasn’t working at all. Told the staff as we tried to use toilet after check in. Was given a jug to fill the cistern and then flush. So each time we flushed the toilet, we were filling the cistern with jug so it’s ready for next time. Shower was temperament. Breakfast was okay but not worth £10 per person. Night staff was good, day staff was rude.
