Huni Lio

We cannot praise this hotel enough, we stayed for a week end of May. The hotel was almost empty (slow season I guess). Beds were good, the hotel was quiet at night, breakfast buffet was great, service exceptional (attentive, polite and always welcoming you with a big smile). Pool area is beautiful. There were plenty of beach chairs on the beach and in the shade for us to choose from. Lio beach is one of the best beaches in El Nido. It is actually part of Lio estate which has guards 24/7, crews raking the leaves and cleaning the beach every day. Beach is spotlessly clean, no garbage, no plastic and no seaweed! There are many restaurants right on Lio beach so we had plenty of choices for lunch and dinner, some items on the hotel menu were also very good like the chicken wings and margaritas.
The beach has fine sand, hard packed in some areas so it was ideal for playing sports ( ball/frisbee).
We have travelled all over South East Asia and our Huni Lio beach vacation was the best we ever had !

What I enjoyed the most was the super comfortable bed and the pool. I also loved the convenience of having pop-up bars and shops near the resort, which made the experience even more fun and relaxing.

I really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the bacon. During my first stay, I already remembered how good the bacon was, so on our second visit, I really looked forward to having it again. Overall, it was another wonderful and memorable stay for us.

Great location and facilities. Pool was heated and had a nice beach front. The staff was really amazing and helpful. Will come back

Lovely Hotel right next to the airport, great beachfront. We only stayed one night as we were moving to stay at a private island for a few days.

This place is beautiful it's right on the beach and all staff and very helpful and friendly.

Had a great stay — the room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The linens smelled fresh and clean, which made the stay even more relaxing. Overall, a pleasant and cozy experience.

The location of the hotel was fantastic. small hotel, friendly. Not over accomodating for guests. had to ask for things like drinks round the pool for example when lots of staff working.

Clean, nice location, accessible to local dining. Very polite staff and excellent chef. Chelle, front office is very polite, professional and excellent at her job. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this place 👍

Lovely hotel right next to the airport, great beachfront. We only stayed one night as we were moving to a private island to stay for a few days & our flight landed too late to get there. Huni Lio Hotel was great & really suited what we needed.

Location is fantastic. One of the best “omelette”.
Restaurant and bar staff are attentive. Free airport shuttle and what a beautiful place to watch the sunset from their beach area. Will certainly come back and stay with them again.

I believe there is a strong opportunity to improve several key aspects of the property.

Firstly, the quality of the mattresses should be upgraded, as this has a direct impact on guest comfort and overall experience.

In addition, accessibility for guests with disabilities should be significantly improved. For example:

* Better access to the swimming pool, such as ramps or assisted entry systems.
* Improved bathroom accessibility to ensure ease of use and comfort.
* Innovative solutions that allow guests with reduced mobility to enjoy the beach, such as accessible pathways or specialized mobility equipment designed for sand.

Implementing these improvements would not only enhance the overall guest experience but also make the property more inclusive and aligned with modern hospitality standards.

The location was great. Staff were really helpful and friendly.

I'd say Huni has been one of the best place my wife and I had stayed at in the Philippines in terms of perfect balance of price and what you can get from the accomodation. Having the ability to just walk out of your accomodation and straight to Lio beach (which in my opinion one of the best beaches in El Nido) is just priceless. The whole area is very quiet and serene and perfect for a good get away from the hustle and bustle of life but still having all the nice amenities to use like good cafes and restaurants.

Lio beach also has one of the best sunsets in El Nido so really really beautiful place to stay at. Even though you're away from the El Nido town, there's a free shuttle that Lio provides (though it starts at 1pm) but i think that's a very good perk. In our week long stay at Huni we just ended up just enjoying our stay here and just occasionally went on boat tours and visited Nacpan and El Nido town.

The staff at Huni are super friendly and accomodating. Always willing to help and assist. A big shout out to Love and her team for providing amazing customer service, i can't remember all your names but you all have been amazing. Keep it up!

Huni also has a decent pool that they always maintain well if you need to do a get away from the heat of the sun. Rooms and the whole area are always clean and well maintained.

I highly highly recommend this place and can't wait to come and visit this place again.

Breakfast options were rotated daily during our 4 day stay which we appreciated.
The staff are so accommodating and professional. Really made us feel welcome.
The location itself is unmatched -- uncrowded spaces with several eatery choices a short walk away.
