It was indeed a flower garden with breathtaking views!
The rooms are a bit old and there was an odd smell in the bath room. The room needed air fresheners. The balcony has the best views in town and is great to chill but was not very clean especially if you're trying to walk around barefoot. The foot mats were quite soiled and dirty like they haven't been washed ever.
The food was quite terrible though and I had to send it away. It was better when remade but still didn't feel fresh or tasted good.
Hotellet ligger fuldstændigt fantastisk, men de er under ombygning hvilket skæmmer oplevelsen noget. Vi måtte bytte til et nyt værelse grundet gener fra ombygningen og det værelse var rigtigt fint. En skøn have med blomster og en udsigt som er guddommelig.
Excellent location in Ella where we stayed for one night. Very friendly and courteous staff. Comfortable & clean room. View from the balcony overlooking the valley and the mountain was spectacular. The hotel has an amazing collection of plants in the garden. Easy access to adventure activities and trail to Mini Adams Peak. Breakfast had variety of choices and food was tasty. Great value
A great three days at Ella Flower Garden. The team are very helpful with information, including ringing the station to find out about trains. Probably the best views in Ella as you are located right at the access point for Adam’s Mini Peak. Lovely breakfast of eggs / fruit or Sri Lankan. On site restaurant was good for lunch too. We had massages on site which were fantastic and relaxing with a stunning view. So friendly and great with our little boy.
We had an amazing stay here! The hotel is very close to the Little Adam’s Peak and Nine Arches walk.
The staff were truly wonderful and went out of their to way to make my friend’s birthday very special, decorating our room and made her a fantastic cake with very little notice!
Having breakfast on their terrace with the wonderful views was one of the highlights! Highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful hotel in the midst of Ella. We stayed with family and marveled at the views, the service and the food. Highly recommend this place!
The room was beautiful, comfortable, great AC and wifi, the hotel itself is breathtaking, with a variety of plants and gardens, the buffet breakfast food (which was included in our package) was EXQUISITE.
The dinner buffet was a bit too expensive for what it was. 13000 SLR for two people (which is about 60 CAD).
schöner Garten mit vielen Pflanzen, schöne Sicht auf Ella Rock, Frühstück war solala, das Abendessen im Restaurant seeehr schlecht (ewige Wartezeit, hässliche Atmosphäre, schlechtes Essen). Sehr nahe am little Adams Peak, etwas weit nach Ella Center.
Wundervoller Blick vom Hotel. Sehr zentral gelegen. Alles fußläufig zu erreichen, tolle Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal.
Theis hotell has an amazing view! And you are sorrunded with beautiful flowers!

Loved this hotel. Very close to nine arch bridge and little Adam’s peak. Simple walk to both. Front desk very helpful and pleasant and food was very good. Room was excellent with spectacular view of Ella Rock.
The location is perfect. The property has an urban garden with hundreds of flower pots. The reception staff (particularly the lady in charge) are very helpful. Laundry is available and reasonable. the room is spacious, but there is a net over the bed, so obviously take your mosquito machine and repellents. Pay extra and you will get a nice balcony.
If you like bird watching then ask for room 26, there is a tree in the garden, outside the balcony and you can sit and watch the birds come to the tree.
The restaurant has good food and a good selection, cheese sandwiches for the non adventurous
There is no room service ,but easy to go to reception or restaurant.
The hotel is on the edge of town, which is a good thing. The main town is full of local hotels with backpackers and commercial eating/drinking venues. The Ella Flower Garden Resort is much quieter and value for money. it is nearer to local sites than the main town.
We will definitely come back next year and stay here
The bathroom needs renovation.
The stay here was extremely comfortable and the staff were absolutely fantastic. My wife was suffering a migraine on the morning of our departure and they kindly extended our check out time to accomodate her situation and was extremely considerate. "Excellent"
Excellent location nice people, specially Mr.Adhikari treated us well.
