What I liked about the property: Not a 3 or 5 star, but clean rooms and bathroom. The housekeeping staff and other staff were very engaging and helpful. I cannot say the same of the owner and the check in experience, - The lady at check-in claimed that expedia did not charge the correct tariff and would not honor the booking unless I paid INR 15000 more. It was a vulnerable moment for us and we were tired after the journey, so we paid. She gave me a receipt which said that the tariff was incorrect. In a few minutes, I was called in to the manager's office who demanded that receipt back saying that they cannot give a receipt with that reason and threatened to not honor my booking. So I gave the receipt back and it was replaced by another receipt that said "room service advance payment". I did not use any room service. The property had earlier sent me a message that I will be owing INR 518 after paying what I did to expedia and I will quite willing to pay that, not INR 15000. Overall a bad experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone from outside India.
