durty room lights did not work microwave did not work

Made reservation through Hotels.com the day before. Arrived early went to get something to eat. When I tried to check in I was told that I had no reservation. The place was run down. I was trying to communicate through a large glass window with a small hole. I could barely understand her and she could not hear me either. When I finally got through to hotels.com they called the hotel and was told they cancelled the appointment because we were a no show. I've never been treated so poorly by a hotel.

This was pretty bad. The room was a disaster. Stuff all over the walls, whoever was fixing stuff was not someone who knew how to. It was very bad. Also booked a non-smoking room and was put into a smoking room which felt like sleeping in a pack of cigarettes.

The property was fine and for a budget model it's about what you'd expect. My issue was with the reservation itself. The night before my check-in, I received a call from the front desk who stated they were overbooked and the room I requested wasn't available but they could give me a smoking room with a king bed (I had requested a non-smoking room with two queen beds). I mentioned how much of an inconvenience this would cause me and they said they'd call me back. 10 minutes later I received another call and they said they would have a room for me. Upon arrival, they said someone else had already checked-in under my name (simply a coincidence in names I guess) but they stated my room wasn't available, but they could give me a room with two full beds. I said this would be fine, but then there was a mixup with the deposit which she had charged someone else to my room and wanted to put my deposit on another room. I explained that this would not be acceptable as I don't know if the other party might trash their room and I didn't want to be responsible for it. Eventually she figured it out and gave me the key to the room but the whole check-in took around 20 minutes, after I had a long day and had food sitting in my car. I'm not sure why they overbooked in the first place or why there was such an issue with the check-in process, maybe the staff is new or needs additional training but I will certainly not be using this motel again.

First of all they put us in a smoking room when I booked a non smoking room with my small kids. Okay whatever. 2nd of all, the morning of check out, which is at 11, they were pounding on the door at 930 and I said just a minute and they continued to try and break into the room when we weren't all decent, again 2 small kids. Not sure if we'll be going back terrible service.

Checkin staff was super nice. Room was ok for the price and area. It’s a bit outdated and run down. Bed was ok and bath/shower was fine. AC unit was not the best but manageable.

Place was not very nice. Bed was clean though and all I wanted to do was sleep.

The internet access was terrible, was fluctuating on & off all the time. When I complain when, they said it is all they can provide.
Also it was very noisy during the nights with people talking loud.

It was the worst place I ever stayed in my life.

No food options, everything is 25 minutes drive away or more. They have potato chips and candy for sale at front desk area. Literally No food

Nice rooms

Excellent value for the price and clean. A little outdated and parking in front of the room. I attended the Camaro Nationals which was a 20 mins drive to the Auto Mall.

Nothing the bed headboard was peeling dirty wet towel was left in the shower . Pillow case with stains. Room needs a complete renovation .

The office is wonderful people the cleaning staff are wonderful people rooms are cleaned and I was never over charged and there is no hiden fee and it's been the best hotel I have ever been in I would say i give the hotel ten stars

Properly was very close to my mom’s retirement place so I am thankful for them. It needs renovation BUT the room was clean, the AC top notch, the bed comfortable and very clean… for the price, it served the purpose! Never felt unsafe… lots of women staying alone.

It was poorly maintained, stains on the linens, outside area seemed unsafe too.

Upon entry I got to kill a spider. The bathroom was disgustingly filthy. Mold on the ceiling in the bed area. I took the time to take pictures. I would not recommend this property to my worst enemy. You need to know your tech to get the tv to work properly. Then the service they have constantly pops up ads on the screen to advertise that service. Annoying. The only reason I stayed was that we had already paid and would not receive a refund.

Non-smoking room smelled strongly of smoke (I sprayed the entire room with perfume two times during our 2 night stay but it still smelled terrible), burn holes in comforter, possible mold on the ceiling, we were woken up by maintenance to check for a leak that the gentleman said he didn't think was coming from our room but had to be sure (not really their fault, but it added to the discomfort of the whole trip), the key card stopped working after the first night and had to go get it reactivated, black stains on the towels, and housekeeping interrupted us while packing before we even checked out to try to take the bedsheets. My partner was not even dressed and they were asking to come into the room.

The Expedia site also lists a car charger for EV cars on site, which was not present. The photos on Expedia are also probably quite old, as the facility looks much more run down and not inviting; photos show a breakfast nook with continental food items that is not available.

Also for reference, there is a seedy motel directly next door, and a strip club on the other side of that. The hotel is located on a divided highway, so it's not convenient to enter or exit the parking lot depending upon your direction; don't plan to walk to any of the businesses nearby, this is not a safely walkable area.
