Location and breakfast
booked two queen but they said can only give one king
Overall, pretty outdated hotel with funky smelling rooms. The best thing about this property is its location as it is literally across from the convention center. The Hotel breakfast was also pretty Good: the eggs were not too dry and the fruits are fresh.
The rooms however, are very updated, with non-working phones, rust stains over the countertop, mirror, and some scratches along the wall. in addition, there was only one functioning elevator for the entire 8 floors of the hotel! the wait time was excruciatingly long for the elevator!
Friendly staff and close to everything I needed
Cost for 1 night was a little high in my opinion but it’s ok
Location was good, check in was easy but when we arrived there were no carts available and we were told that they would have to go walk the floors to find them. Then we found out the ice maker in our floor was broken so we had to go to other floors to get ice (when we needed to top off ice chests). Then, only one elevator was working. There was a bad odor in the bathroom when we ran the water (and not because it was well water). Other than that, the room was clean we didn’t have breakfast as we were staying for a carnival ride and we had to get started early.
Close to everything we needed and the best breakfast I’ve ever seen!
The elevator was broke so only one worked
Great location to Cruise ship
Good location
Hotel room was dusty, floors were dirty, one elevator was broken, 2nd was broken for a little while I was trying to get all my luggage down,
Location and amazing staff
Nothing
OLD, out dated, mattress had quite a few stains, worn out lumps in mattress
Dirty filth behind mattress when pulled forward to check for bed bugs
Bathroom facilities outdated
Dirty windows for viewing
Smells musky
Door hanging on cabinet to refrigerator
Hotel in general
Try close to cheer event which was perfect!
Convenient

Valet was quick and efficient.
Room was very dirty, toilet leaked constantly, linens were dirty (stained, and had hair and dirt all over). We requested new sheets and blanket 3 times and were brought a mattress cover instead each time.
The size of the room was great. Breakfast was nice, and the elevators and space on floor 3 to hang out was really nice.
There was no fitted sheet on our bed and we didn’t notice until after 1am. The straps of the mattress pad were spotted with gross colored something.. and the toilet barely flushed. I had to hold it down for awhile, and even then it took a second round, even just for pee.
The AC/heat was a bit confusing as well since both ran together it seemed.
Internet was bad but I think that’s pretty normal for hotels.
Also, the parking options are not great. It is on me that I didn’t look further into this when reserving the room, but 45/night plus tax for valet is too much.
The hotel is run down and the staff seem very unconcerned about everything. Trash and laundry were left out in the hallways from day to day, the room itself was in disrepair with peeling wallpaper and dirty grout in the bathroom tiles. When a guest called the front desk, a staff member remarked, “I don’t get paid enough for this S@#T” after they hung up the phone. Not at all what I expected from the Hyatt brand. There are several other hotels conveniently located to the convention center that you should choose.
Upon entering the room, it was immediately clear that it had not been properly cleaned. There was dust throughout the room, scum residue on both the shower and bathroom vanity, visible mold on the shower curtain, and noticeable stains on the carpet. To make matters worse, the room phone was disconnected, leaving us unable to contact the front desk without physically going downstairs.
I stay at multiple Hyatt properties each year and can confidently say this was the worst Hyatt experience I have ever had. I am appalled that I had to use and ultimately waste my points on a hotel in this condition. I even considered switching hotels, but due to a cheer competition and a volleyball tournament in the area, no other accommodations were available.
Because of how unsanitary the room was, we chose not to participate in the complimentary breakfast. If the guest rooms were in such poor condition, it raised serious concerns about the cleanliness of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
This experience was unacceptable and does not align with Hyatt’s reputation or brand standards.
