Mixed weather in LA!
Pros:

The location is great. We had a good room with a sea view. the housekeeping was excellent. The lobby is very pleasant with a very nice bar. concierge very helpful as are all other front of house staff.

Cons:

A big feature of this hotel is the extensive pool area. This area was closed. I do not recall any notice being given of this until we arrived poolside and found it empty, together with a selection of building materials, barriers etc.
We had a week of bad weather so didn't miss much but the temperature reached mid 20s the previous week and the following week.

Pros:

Room was nice, if dated. parking was an additional $40 a night, pretty steep for the area. Location is very good, 5 minute walk to the harbor.

Parking, no water in the room. could use a facelift

Great stay. Good location.
Pros:

We had a good stay, great base for Redondo. The staff were all friendly and professional. The bar staff were really great. Our only downside was our balcony view looked over the bins which wasn’t ideal so we didn’t sit on the balcony, we tried to move rooms but the hotel was full. I guess someone had to have that view, so it was us! Other than that, we had a great stay. Had room service which was fast, hot and tasty. We also ate in the bar. Would certainly come back.

Chief concierge Maria is the best!!!
Pros:

During our company sales kickoff at Sonesta Redondo Beach & Marina, I unexpectedly cracked a tooth. Maria Elena Castillo del Muro, Chief Concierge, handled the situation with remarkable professionalism and care. She quickly connected me with an excellent local dentist who resolved everything within a couple of hours.

What could have been a major disruption turned into a seamless experience because of Maria’s calm, thoughtful support. Her genuine concern and commitment to helping guests in moments of need truly stand out. I’m very grateful for her assistance

Nice enough but overpriced for what you get
Pros:

Nice rooms

Cons:

Overpriced for what you get. Parking too expensive, resort fee too much for what you get. Coffee situation awful! Cheap coffee in room, restaurant outside is same and not near any coffee shops at all. Nice rooms but wouldn’t stay again.

Amazing location and great beds!
Pros:

We had a fantastic experience here. The location is amazing as we easily walked to restaurants and bars and the Redondo pier. Very friendly staff and super nice and comfortable beds.
The bar/bar food restaurant is quite functional, albeit not fancy. The fitness center is actual two separate rooms, one for cardio and one for strength training - both nice.
The pool/hot tub area is very large and impressive!
The one “negative” is the resort fee and parking fee is annoying. It adds about $70 more to each night.
Also, we happed to be there the weekend of a 10k/5k race and the starting line was outside our window on the beach side of the hotel and it was ridiculously loud. Bad timing for us.
Overall, notwithstanding that noisy event, it was great!

I like the properties location I like the cleanliness of the property and also the amenities.

Cons:

The breakfast was over priced, and there was a hair in my pancakes however, the server was prompt about bringing more pancakes., I didn’t like the valet parking process. It was two times consuming.

It is ok but honestly you pay too much for what you get
Pros:

The position

Cons:

For the price you pay it seems a little bit old and not very well maintained.
For istance we played tennis and we asked for rackets and balls. All the rackets were kind of broken or not very well maintained and there was only one ball. Luckily there is a shop at the entrance where you can buy them

I had a fun time.
Pros:

Covered parking connected to hotel. Hotel within close walking distance to beach, restaurants, shops, entertainment. Walking/biking paths to next beach town. Decent bathrooms near beach.

Cons:

There was a big mistake on my bill at checkout. I prepaid for my hotel through booking.com and the hotel charged me again for $1,425. It is still not rectified/refunded. The hotel, also, charged me for an upgraded room that I did not request, but the front desk did remove the upgraded charge. A beachfront room at this hotel overlooks a very large, black parking lot not shown in the online pictures.

Pros:

We were very pleased with the location since we wanted immediate access to the beaches. Paying extra for parking is a bit unnecessary, but we knew about it while we booked the room.

Cons:

We enjoyed the location since it was very convenient for us to get out and have a long walk on the beach.
