Over priced and outdated poor customer service
Pros:

The location was pretty easy and nice

Cons:

We had no hot water , I had to bath in the pool locker room . The engineer told me that because my room was on the top floor that is why we were having trouble getting hot water!! That is ridiculous . We were staying in a king ocean view room & didn’t even have hot water! Hotel is old and dated . They prioritize their airline contracts over general public . So prepare to stand inline or be asked to step aside if airline crew come while you are checking in. Then they never told us about the breakfast that came with our stay . What a rip off!

Great place to stay to explore LA
Pros:

We have just spent a fab week at the Sonesta RB & Marina. The lobby is nice and spacious and smells great, check in was easy and within minutes we were in our room. The pool is on the roof (2nd floor) and is a good size and very inviting. Plenty of loungers to relax in the sun. They have bikes for hire and / or you can easily walk to Redondo Beach or Hermosa Beach piers which we did. Plenty of options for food and drink nearby. Nice bar (tad expensive for wine) with good service. As was the room cleaning and friendly staff throughout the property. We loved our stay and will definitely be back when we return to LA.

This is really meant to be more of a corporate hotel. Clean and friendly but not charming.

We had a good room with the beautiful view. The room was spacious.

Cons:

The pillows were awful! Super big and bulky. There was no mini bar. Plastic cups in the bathroom. I would expect a little more for the high price.

Het bed in de suite was zeer slecht. De matras paste duidelijk niet in de ombouw waardoor je er telkens tegenaan stootte. Zeker voor dit geld extreem slecht.

They upgraded us because we were celebrating 21 years of wedded bliss. Staff was helpful and accommodating.
