Not a great experience would not go back

The location was the best thing about the property

Cons:

There was renovations happening and we weren't notified the room shower had red liquid coming out of it, which was a very scary and I didn't understand why the staff was very young so they were just making up reasons. It could have been the issue and I wanted to know a more definite answer that they could not provide my TV did not work in my room. They tried to accommodate me with a new room and try to send me to the un renovated side, which felt very scary and spooky as soon as you drop the elevator, there was a door right in front. I tried to get them to resolve this. They only want to give me $45.

Extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience – avoid this hotel.

From the moment we arrived, the experience was far below expectations. We were given a room overlooking a garbage/storage area with construction debris, which is completely misleading compared to what is advertised.

“Breakfast included” was also misleading, as it turned out to be a very limited à la carte option instead of what guests would reasonably expect.

The restaurant experience was equally poor: despite ordering within the advertised opening hours, we were not allowed to dine in and were forced to eat takeaway food with plastic cutlery in the reception area.

The most concerning part was the handling of payment. Even though the stay was prepaid, the hotel attempted additional charges and only returned our stored luggage after we paid under pressure.

No compensation has been received despite promises.

This is not the standard one would expect from an IHG property. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

Nice hotel - expensive for the area. Not recommended due to the price. I would not stay there again
Pros:

Location, bed comfort. Quiet room, good food in restaurant, nice bathroom and clean overall. Neighborhood is safe and close to restaurants and beach. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Complicated pricing information. The price from booking.com was not an all-in price. Other charges and fees were added that were not explicitly stated. Pricing was misleading and has resulted in not being able to trust booking.com as much as before. I will be more reluctant to book on booking.com without having to study the information. It seemed intentionally deceptive.

MAL RATO POR UN ERROR EN EL CHECK IN DEL HOTEL
Cons:

El hotel pide un depósito de $150 dólares, pero al momento de llegar al hotel y hacer el check in la persona en recepción se equivocó y débito de mi tarjeta de crédito $850 dólares y no me comunicaron nada al respecto, cuando me llegó el mensaje del débito a mi correo, solicité una aclaración y la persona encargada JUDITH de mala gana me dijo que eso era error de mi banco y que hablara directamente con ellos, cuando el error evidentemente había sido del hotel. Me parece una MUY MALA atención y resolución a un problema generado por el mismo hotel, perdí toda la tarde que tenía para conocer San Juan llamando a mi Banco en Colombia para que me confirmaran lo que ELLOS ya sabían, realmente fue muy desgastante el proceso para tener claridad de los hechos y que asumieran su responsabilidad. He viajado por muchas partes del mundo usando esa misma tarjeta y nunca antes había tenido un problema de este tipo con un hotel. INACEPTABLE.

El voucher para el restaurante, los valet parkings muy amables, aunque lo mejpr es la ubicacion. Las camas y las almohadas son muy comodas.

Cons:

La habitacion en el primer piso un poco ruidoso afuera. La limpieza un poco descuidada y las habitaciones huelen a humedad. El servicio en el restaurante es muy demorado.

The location is amazing. 2 minutes walk to the condado beach.

Cons:

There is a bit of confusion at the front desk. They don't tend to answer the calls from the rooms as they prefer if anyone has an issue to coke downstairs to talk directly to the front desk. The first day we've arrived, they got our room wrong 3 times. Kept sending us to the wrong building and rooms. They didn't inform us that they have construction on the 6th floor. It was completely insane having to deal with the horrible noise starting very early up to 3pm. They have claimed the construction is only from 1-3pm, but it literally wasn't true as we were hearing noise the whole night. We woke up early and went to the 6th floor in 6am and saw people working there with hammers and machinery. I wish they would have told us in the arrival about it so this way we at least have asked for different floor. Other than the service, the location is amazing ( pool is very small and jacuzzi does not work). But it is a nice hotel other than the customer service
