Views from room
Long walk from life to room to get ice from machine long walk
Bedroom was fantastic, the staff easily accommodated my 2 teenagers in my room with me - they were very helpful and even left extra towels, chocolate drinks etc
Leaving, we were on a 7am flight back to NZ so had to leave 4.30am but express check out the night before made the whole process very simple and stress free
The location was very central and having on-site restaurants was a big bonus. 11am check out was great too. The complimentary birthday drinks were a nice touch too.
The pillows were horrible. There were stains on the lounge which looked like bodily fluids. The walls are paper thin, we could hear the next rooms TV on most of the night. And the loud music from upstairs was not pleasant. For a 5 star hotel, we expected better.
Location. staff, amenities, views from room and Zephyr
There were a lot of long black hairs in the bathroom on the floor. I did not find this stay as comfortable as bed seemed hard and pillow wasn't as comfy as previous stays. (Doors seemed to slam shut noisily from other guests and we could hear other guests talking and showers running. We do understand this is beyond your control). Roller blind against window needs repairing in room 510 as it has come out of the roller on the right-hand side. Toilet was running at times, so we re-flushed like last stay in a different room.
Location value and rooms
Nothing at all
Yes it is excellent
It is all good
everything was very good
Breakfast way too expensive, however very nice.
We have been here three times now. Location is lovely. Food and bars are inviting. Staff are very focused and well mannered. There is an exit that leads straight out to Darling Harbour for a picturesque view! I would happily recommend to anyone wanting a night or more in Sydney!
Noise control is not great. Constantly heard noises people chatting loud and laughing in the hallways in the afternoon for an hour without security intervention. Kids running around in the hallways and playing at 7-8am in the morning - called guest services 7 times no one picked up. The dinner at restaurant was great though.
The hotel is within walking distance to Darling Harbour, and there are a few amenities, restaurants and public transport that are close by. The CBD is also not far away. The hotel is spacious and is cleaned regularly, and the bed and chairs were comfortable. The staff are friendly. The room I stayed in had good views of the Darling Harbour.
