Pleasant enough but not amazing.
Pros:

Bed / room was comfortable and quiet. Good location. Concierge was very pleasant. Breakfast had a range of items and tasty.

Cons:

Too expensive and not at all 5 star quality as suggested by 5 star status. We had to wait 90 minutes for our room to be ready (compensated with a 1pm checkout so we could use the facilities). Hotel felt like it needed a good vacuum! Not enough staff in restaurant at busy time so tables were nnot cleared quickly making finding a table difficult. Poor bar service too, probably due to lack of staff.

Great location, kind staff and great facilities
Pros:

The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming right from the beginning. The concierge staff with friendly and helpful work taking bags, and I cannot speak more highly of Alice at reception. Alice was accommodating, professional, very efficient and had such a lovely energy which set the tone right from the start. Rooms are lovely and the location is very convenient. Looking forward to my next stay!

Favourite Brisbane Hotel
Pros:

Location is perfect - right beside the river & the Botanic Gardens. Easy walking to shops, restaurants (including the Prawnster), cafes & the large Mall. I love this hotel's charm, elegant atrium, great breakfast, huge bedrooms & bathrooms and very comfy beds.

Cons:

The sliding doors to the bathrooms are noisy & not easy to use - in need of an upgrade. Such large bathrooms really should have an extra door on the toilet area.
