Enjoyed our stay, very comfortable
Pros:

The room was excellent, pool was lovely but too cool for us being Territorians. Restaurant atmosphere was great being by the pool side.

Cons:

As I booked an extra night I thought the staff could have helped by offering a better price. $390 for the same room I booked through Bookings.com for $220/night was a bit extreme, I thought but needed to stay for unforseen medical appointments.

Very disappointed
Pros:

Location

Cons:

Room was not ready at allocated time, had to find another room. Our travelling companions were able to access rooms 3 hours earlier. We were not told the hotel was under major refurbishment, basically a construction site with jackhammers above our room

Was like living in a construction site
Pros:

The pool

Cons:

The construction site every day all day jackhammering Crane movement people, yelling, hammers, banging sauce, going even the mess that was out the front. I walked out the front and nearly stood on screws poking through a timber just shit laying around everywhere.

The worst I have experienced ever
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

The hotel is being extensively rebuilt and should not be open to guests. They and the reception staff are being subjected to dangerous pollution - extremely loud persistent noise for extended periods and building dust which contravene health and safety regulations. The workmen often wore no ear protection and guests could only enter the hotel up a makeshift ramp which was often being covered in a spray of dust and liquids from the building works. The windows are covered in scaffolding with men working on them which is completely unacceptable. The present situation is dangerous and neither guests, nor staff should be subjected to this.

Truly dreadful
Pros:

The hotel is undergoing a massive rebuild and should not have been taking any bookings as the noise of the building works was dangerously high, the air was polluted with dust, the access to the hotel was via makeshift ramps and the windows were covered in scaffolding on which men were working. We were given an upgrade when I complained but this did not overcome the major problems

Cons:

See above. Staff are being subjected to serious noise damage and constant complaints from staff due to appalling circumstances that the Hilton have placed both their paying guests and workers. It is the worst stay I have experienced for many years of travelling

What a shamozzle
Pros:

The front of house staff, eg checkin were excellent. There was so much wrong with our stay and they tried so hard to make us more comfortable.

Cons:

Where do I start?
Major Reno's in progress and absolutely no communication to advise of this. The noise levels were unbearable in our room so we asked to be moved. Thankfully we were moved and noise levels were a little more bearable but housekeeping deficiencies meant we had to request towels for 2 days, cobwebs , dirty windows, remote controls with flat batteries, bathroom door that was faulty and I got locked in! Wait staff in restaurant and bar severely lacking. There's so much more to tell!

Will definitely be back, thank you to Erica for your warm welcome. It made our whole trip to Darwin
Pros:

I absolutely loved staying here. The service we got from Erica on check in was exceptional. She made us feel so welcome and gave us such great recommendations for Darwin that we decided to extend our stay an extra night. I have travelled all over the world and the service and care I received really stood out. We will definitely be back!

Cons:

There was some renovations but I honestly didn't feel that it impacted our experience. The hotel interiors and facilities exceeded my expectations

A 'near to perfect' place to vacation at! Definitely recommend DoubleTree Hilton Accommodation!
Pros:

The room was open, spacious and very clean. The amenities were plentiful and the room was serviced every day! The pool was sparkling clean and very inviting, and the area had plenty of outdoor lounges. The full buffet breakfast was amazing, with everything you could want being available, even a waffle and a pancake machine to make your own fresh!!!!

Cons:

There was nothing NOT to like about this accommodation!!!!!!
