Great location
Pros:

Quick uncomplicated check-in, by polite staff. The room was small but comfortable, and quiet despite facing onto a small but often busy road. Just a short walk from the station and city centre, and an even shorter walk to the Alster lake.
I did not visit the hotel's restaurant/bar, so cannot rate those facilities.

There are several nice cafés in the area, the nearest "Mitte Hamburg", just a 2-minute walk from the hotel towards the station, and numerous other options 5-10 minutes away in the St. Georg area.

Cons:

A little pricey, for an Ibis, but typical for Hamburg, and worth it for the quiet yet central location.

Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt für Theater- und Museumsbesuche. Es ist zentral, aber sehr ruhig. Hierher kommen wir gerne zurück. Waren auch schon das zweite Mal dort.

Cons:

Für Kurzurlaube ein sehr schönes Hotel.
Pros:

Frühstück war sehr Gut mit einer vielfältigen Auswahl. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Nah an der Alster und an Hauptbahnhof.

Cons:

Die Ablageflächen im Zimmer sind sehr wenig, für Kurzaufenthalte aber ausreichend. Das Bett war ziemlich durchgelesen.
