The room was very spacious and I appreciated a view of the water.
The snacks/food in the M Lounge could have been better.
Great restaurant! Wonderful view of the harbor. Rooftop patio was perfect for fireworks viewing. Friendly staff.
On site Parking lot was full due to Tall Ships festival so we had to park farther away. This was quite inconvenient.

The staff were attentive, and the location was excellent, but the housekeeping staff should do a better job dusting.
Since it's a Marriott Hotel, I anticipated modern toilets rather than low ones that feel like you're sitting on the floor. Additionally, the molding around the shower stall needs to be replaced.
Beautifully decorated. Beds were good. Beautiful view of Harbour from our room.
The only thing that was annoying was the sliding glass, barn door opening to the bathroom. While it was esthetically beautiful, it was very noisy when opening and closing it.
Fantastic location, parking garage accessibility was a nice surprise. The best part may have been the pool and the pools rooftop views of the Elizabeth River.
Bathrooms had cheap repairs over what I imagine was once nice renovations. Rather pricey for the hotel quality

Jamya Northam was excellent . mixed reservations with other family members and a packed hotel . She definitly went out of her way to make us all feel welcomed . cannot give her enough thanks and gratitude to resolving our stay . excellent job .

Great check in experience. Jacqueline Davis checked us in at desk. She was very efficient and cordial. Check in was seemless. Marriott fortunate to have her.
Temzel took care of my luggage. He was new on the block but done a great job. We had a cordial talk going to my room he was very respectful and efficient. We have stayed here for several years and he is right up at the top taking care of us. Great job guys. Marriott should be proud.
Location has great views of the military ships on service. Close to cafes and bars. The local restaurant - Capo - is good Italian food and the bartenders are knowledge. As I use this location to get to the airport it is also convenient without being a remote airport hotel.
GREAT LOCATION
Lobby Atmosphere was worn down for the price furniture Stained. Line and wait time to long.

Getting into the building at check in time was a cluster of just because of how the road is infront of the building.
I want to commend Arianna, whonwas a deligjt and an absolute joy upon checking into the hotel. She made the process smooth and was the epitome of what should happen at the front lines of hospitality. If you have Customer Service Employee of the Month, she is deserving of it. I didn't give a 5 because I had a connecting room and was right at the elevator two things that are a no as my preference. We were there in VA to plan the funeral of a loved one and we will be back next week to attend the services and have already booked to stay here again. Nonetheless rooks were clean and service satisfactory.
Felicia at the front desk ran this place like it was her own house, excellent. She cares.
