The Millcroft Hotel

The rooms have had a make over. We had broken chair in the tv area. We tried to phone about 5 times on our way to property and no answer. The reception is not manned and you can’t get into your room even 15 mins early. Check in 4pm and no one on counter till 4pm. Breakfast starts at 8pm and doors into dining area locked till exactly 8am. Ok but would I stay again? NO

Ideal place, staff lovely, felt very relaxed and welcome

Staff were nice. But felt the place needs updating. On a positive note the view was amazing of the sea & beach.

Great place to stay, we stopped for 2nights doing the Nc500 road trip and good stop for that. Got a few pubs and Black Pearl restaurant nearby which was ace :)
We had a bit of damp by the entrance hallway, which I hope they will sort out.

The Millcroft was small hotel with many stairs. Perhaps not the best for people with mobility issues, but clean and convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Staff were very good. Breakfast excellent, dinner very limited choice (other venues locality were also limited). Suite I was in very good until the rain came in through the roof.

Before we were even in the door, therecwax a notice advising people that no meals to be taken to rooms, as previous customers had left a mess! The suite was perfectly good...but kitchen area had 2 mugs..one chipped, 2 teaspoons, a kettle that wouldnt switch off, and no teatowels or basic cutlery. Bathroom fine, but toilet seat, too small and extreme wobbly!
The meal at night, and the breakfast were excellent. The staff seemed to consist of 3 girls, who were obviously multitasking...i take my hat off to them, they were extremely professional!

Great, comfortable room with a beautiful view across the loch. A pity that the left window wasn’t cleaned and was covered in salt spray.
Restaurant menu was unexciting but our fish and chips were fresh and well cooked.

The staff were extraordinary and the view was amazing.

Room was clean, bathroom looked like it has had a recent refurb. Views over the bay are some of the best we have seen. Staff friendly & helpful. Only slight negative was food service was a bit slow

The hotel was so beautiful and the people there were so kind. The view is to die for.

Lovely views, great breakfast and friendly staff

This is a pub with rooms, friendly welcoming staff, and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food in the pu was also delish.
